I’ve read the new post about pvp changes
(https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/pvp-league-season-two-changes/)
and i just want to suggest to add it so that since amber players (for example) will be paired up against diamonds (for example) if they have a diamond in their party as the highest ranking player, the amber player should still get 2 pips in case of a win. Just for winning a match that is waay out of their league.
The way it was so far was that the diamond player gets 2 pips as well. Well, they should get 1 just as you said in the new post, but the amber player should get 2.
Thnx for explaining
So, i’m messing around with the shadow trap on thief, and the range bothers me. Does anyone know the dimensions of pvp maps in the in-game measurement units? And does anyone know why the teleport doesn’t work the way it should sometimes (sometimes a wall blocks me and sometimes it doesnt, sometimes nothing happens, etc) ?
@Orangesaft.7139 That’s an incredibly good point!
Okay, the skill effects have got to be reversed. The shouts on ele became whispers. Make it a clickable option like the default character models for pvp, so whoever is bothered by it may change it at will. One of the most essential things in GW2 is the graphics and looking epic . . . This kinda kills that aspect of the game.
I don’t know if the devs gave this any thought, but the spinal blade pack should definitely be turned into a glider Maybe just do it so it morphs a bit so it looks like it can actually glide, like adding more blades that pop-up, or some cloth in-between? You could both make it a gemstore thing for everyone or bring back blade shards in some future living world event so we can upgrade it to a glider and possibly even make the ones we are missing (i don’t have a blue one :’( )
This is my first time posting here, and well, i guess this is the right place for this. Also, im curious cuz it’s “players helping players”, do game devs check this section?
The thing i wanted to talk about is that the comunity in gw is really great, one of the best i’ve seen so far, it’s only problem is the VERY low threshold of tolerance for newbies. So i wanted to suggest adding a reward for people who help out noobs. What im saying is, for example, giving some sort of a bonus for the veteran players if the difference between their AP and the lowest AP player is above 5k for example. A similar system worked in a game i played before and it really motivated older players to help out the little folk.
Anything along the lines of a 30 minute karma boost, an extra chest, what would perhaps be best is bonus dungeon tokens? Idk, just, something.
This problem really got on my nerves when i just started playing, cuz everyone kept kicking me from dungeons, event the lowest level one (AC), cuz i was too low of a level (even when i was lv70+). And even now that i’ve played for almost a year, it still annoys me because “high ap pro players” keep kicking everyone bellow lv80 or bellow 5k AP. And it takes quite a while to find a team. Not to mention that there are thousands of players with 1k AP who play better than some with 15k AP. There is also the part where some of my friends started playing and are really repulsed by the fact nobody wants them in their party, and even when i start a team with them, whoever joins, kicks them.
This idea should be looked at by someone who has influence over the game, maybe not necesarily in the same way i suggested, but something has to be done. If nothing else, that you should pick a reason why you’re kicking somebody as it is with reporting. Tho that can be miss used and good people might get banns or something.
Tell me your opinions on this…
