How about you can only have one Orb at a time however you can fight/defend/prevent others away from the Orbs u don’t have.
I agree that it was smart play … Your way you would be able to hold on to your conquest almost indefinitely with a small force of ppl. Maybe instead of trying to use just 10 ppl hold up inside the base to hold off an attacking force you use those 10 and 10 more to go out and actually take the fight to them and chase the zerg away while being backed up by your seige weapons etc. Just a thought. Maybe?
It’s not in this game but it should be. Because in WvW – Guild Wars 2 style – all you need is the numbers (zerg)… no strategy needed and once you have it on lock then you just hold. I understand that Anet says it will be several months before balance but I still think that the Zerg will rule… Nothing wrong with that in my opinion however I just think that there should be a mechanic in place to counter this all too common game enthusiasim killer. I can’t remember what game it was … I want to say “Planetside” possibly … but when one side had major numbers the lesser side got certain perks or conditions that allowed the game to remain competative instead of just allowing the ppl with the most uh…people to faceroll all comers.
Well as always seems that everyone has their opinion and no one opinion is better than the other so the game will stay as it is. My opinion? WvW is a Zerg Fest no room for melee … sooo… just level a ranged AoE’er and have at it if thats your thing. All others report to sPvP.
