im having a similar problem, crashes and freezes when i go into a city or certain areas,usually ones with a lot of npc interaction, didnt have the problem until about 3 weeks ago suddenly woke up one morning and it was happening. no error codes, can we confirm that it has something to do with the patches?
As of about 6 days ago I cannot login to my characters in lion arch or hoelbrak. I had a character that was not in lions arch and when i tried to enter that zone I got disconnected and recieved the GW2 message to send a report, and i can no longer login to that character. On both characters it says 0% map completion. I can make a new character and play as long as i dont try to enter a capital city.
This could be a connection problem, but it has been fine the past few days.
I would appreciate any suggestions you could give me.
I have changed servers, and even restored my computer to a date before the problem occured.
Update, I tried to enter the zone from another character, didnt work, and now i have the same issue on that one. I have a satellite connection but have never had this problem before.
Whenever i try to log into my mesmer it goes to the loading screen for lions arch, it will load for about five minutes (without the vistas and points of interest showing up under lions arch) and then the GW2 error message pops up asking me to send a report. This issue only happens on this character.

i tried a few for my system but they said i didnt have the minimum requirements.
Do new drivers need to be opened with guildwars? or will they automatically go into effect? do i need to delete previous drivers? because i have downloaded the most recent drivers with no change.

Is there no other way to fix it then to buy a new comp? the problem seems fairly minor and i can play with it, but its really a nuisance. i’ve seen far worse graphical errors fixed with a driver update
I just bought and downloaded GW2 and when i enter the game world i get odd objects floating around on screen and eratic blue lines. I updated my graphics drivers like i saw in other posts but still nothing. Maybe they arent being used for some reason? Plz help.

2.0ghz, 2mb l3 cache

15.6 hd led lcd
4gb ddr3 memory
500 gb hdd

Updated mine as well (or so i think) and no change, have also messed with graphics and sometimes they change the pattern of the shapes they never get rid of them.
Having the same problem but just the blue shapes and odd items like fences appearing in wierd places. Specs:
