Yup 72 hours is way too long anyways , ArenaNet banned us for 3 days to make sure not too many people would log in at the same time for the event. Simple as that.

It has been more than 24 hours and i havent received any response whatsoever , i see how much this company cares about it’s customers.

Even if you guys were right about my name being offensive (wich was clearly not) 3 days ban before changing my name and being able to play again? It’s simply stupid and way too long. Thanks for screwing up my only chance at this one time event.

Been more than 30 hours , ticket has not been anwsered yet. Good for you , happy you can join the event, they banned me and now im stuck not being able to enjoy the event.

Welcome to my world , ive been preparing myself for 2 weeks for this event.

Surprise Surprise , woke up this morning tried to log in and saw i was banned for no good reasons.

Calling people a Basterd would be an Insult , but defining myself as a Basterd (like in the movie Inglorious Basterds wich is in every videostores at the sight of childrens) is not an insult. It’s a definition of me , ive used this for years , never had any problems on any other games ive played or forums that i joined with this name.

I dont mind changing the name because i really enjoy this game and i dont want to lose my account.

Im not insulting anyone with the word Basterd. It serve the purpose of defining me.
And you have a language filter in-game if you are so offended by such crude words.
I never insulted anyone in-game and will not start today.

But having to argue on the meaning of the word Basterd is something i will not continue on here , Have a good day sir.

Seriously …. I will miss the event that ive been for a long time …. im my opinion you guys made the mistake here…. Now you are telling me , that i must miss the event , be unable to play for the entire event time. Im the one here who pays the price of what i consider your mistake… Im not going to rage , im not going to QQ , but know that im very unsatisfied and angry…

I have received a ban this morning , saying i have broken the line of conduct and that my in-game name was not respecting the Naming Policy….
The word basterd means : A person born of parents not married to each other.

Im sorry if this pissed people off ,but im not using the word ’’Basterd’’ to insult anyone , nor did i ever call anyone else than myself a Basterd.

Ive been using this username for 3 years , i will not stop now.

Im sorry but in the Naming Policy i see nothing that says i cannot use that word in my name.

Please anwser me quickly , i have never been banned for something so meaningless before….
