The issue with Sword/Axe is that the only purpose axe OH would serve is Whirling Axe.

But against a player, Whirling Axe is one of the dumbest things you can do. It’s easy to avoid and it’s a freaking 3s channel. Thus, the main purpose of rapidly building adrenaline for Flurry is very much lost.

And honestly, if you want to spam Flurry, you really should consider Furious and/or Burst Mastery.

For condition damage, the go-to is pretty much S/S, as the OH sword provides some much-needed condi support with Torment and extra bleeds. Sword/Shield works better for direct damage variants, since you could take advantage of Unsuspecting Foe to crit Final Thrust.

If you guys think P/D is easy and want to go with a D/D condition build, just keep moving along. D/D caltrops SoM builds are some of the most invincible builds in the game. It’s not going to be any harder than P/D, and frankly with 40-6"% dodge uptime while out of stealth (and not regenerating health) it’s a lot easier. Just search “Unicorn Thief” in google and watch a few videos. You’ll get what I mean.

I used 0/0/30/20/20. I’m not a number cruncher and this build could be so bad I’ll get laughed at, but I did enjoy D/D + SB Condition when I ran it. A lot of health and a lot of survivability. I probably pulled this build from somewhere a long long time ago, but happen to have a screen shot saved.

I ran full carrion. Although I can’t remember my runes…. bleed duration I’m sure.

I remember having close to 21k Health and could survive a lot of fights. My turn off was when I ran into another player with good condition removal. I was pretty much doing nothing to them at that point. It’s a fun build though.

Again, I’m not pro. I do like to solo roam and this was something I tried for a couple of months, but found it fun.

Now just running 0/30/30/10/0 D/P solo. That’s fun as well.

S/S Longbow. A full condi build should do the job, like 0/30/20/20/0 with Rabid Gear and Rune of Nightmare.

there a few things i would suggest if you dare to go DD condi :p

DD condi = a dodge build , of you stop dodging /Db’ing you’ll get hit hard
( fun thing is you got like 70% dodge uptime :p )
