Reminds me of when I was in the army. When one soldier does something bad, instead of finding out who that soldier is and punishing them, my lazy leadership would “shotgun” everyone in the squad with punishments in hopes we would ferret out the soldier, or pressure him into fixing his ways.

I am getting punished because of botting, yet, I see botters at nearly any event that cycles every 10 minutes? I report them, and they are there for days, botting away.

Lazy leadership. Always.

The army works differently. The mistake of one is the mistake of many. In times of war, one person deserting can cause the entire group to collapse.

This is why everyone is punished, to emphasize that group unity is important, and looking out for your buddies is not just covering up their mistakes, but guiding them on the right path.

Or at least that’s how it is supposed to be. All it achieves is mistrust and is a method for the leadership to vent their frustrations from their own superiors. But I digress.

Civilian environments are different, so your latter half has a point. It is very lazy and hurts the legitimate players moreso than the exploiters or gold sellers.

No, my point stands. People in the army knew that they could do wrong things, and not get punished for it. They did it often, and was one of the reasons I got out.

People botting and farming with macros has “forced” anet to punish everyone who legitimately plays the game instead of taking the time to think of and come up with ways to punish the offenders.

Mesmers are the top pvp class over all.

I am not saying that your complaints aren’t valid, but there might be more going on here than “other classes being broken…”

Condition Builds- Not fun to play with I'm sorry.

I agree 100%.

In a game where you choose from 8 dps classes, you simply want the class that makes the most numbers float over an enemy’s head. Condition is fun solo, but when you try to fight bosses and structure, it becomes a liability.

Condition Necro here.

So im level 80, what now ?

Once you hit 80, there is nothing to do but pvp.

Unless you want to spend 50 hours (post cof nerf) doing dungeon runs for new dress and shoes.

I am fully aware that the Warrior is possibly the best “anything” in GW 2. I have no real issue with that.

I am sorry if I didn’t make it clear, but I want to play a profession other than Warrior for Condition Damage.

Also, by “best”, I mean largest Condition Damage possible.

At the moment I mainly do PvE content, so this question has zero bearing on PvP builds.

Which profession does the best Condition Damage in PvE? Both for single target and area.

I already have a Warrior for the best DPS, but now I want to try out the other kind of damage.

What Class to roll?

Warrior. Since the Trinity is gone, all we have is varying degrees of DPS, and the Warrior is simply the best at it.

All we have now are different level of DPS classes. That is it. Spin it however you want, but the majority of people I see posting here, and playing in game, want to max out their dps because there really isn’t anything else to do.

And they are failing, miserably, then whining on the forums about how everything is broke.

I find it mildly disrespectful when posters throw around the word “whining” around like a pseudo insult to marginalize another person’s argument.

Especially in this instance because I read tons of posts, and many of the posters who are “whining” make legitimate complaints. The majority of the issues are bug related to skills not working properly.

The other half complain that their dps is not enough, and that is the problem when you remove the Trinity. When everyone is ONLY dps, you want to be the BEST dps.

I will agree with you when other people are actually whining, but in this case, so far in this game, the majority of complaints seem very valid.

The trinity is dead because the healer and tank are gone. Everyone can heal themselves, and aggro cannot be controlled, so now everyone is fair game.

About the only thing you can delve into is crowd control, but that was never specific to any one trinity archetype.

The trinity has worked in many games for nearly 40 years Getting used to it being gone here just takes practice, patience and time.

Dungeons are not even fun, just frustating!

I sure loved fighting the big bad dragon of the game in the Arah Dungeon… Only to grab a gun, and spam 2 without any fear of dying, until the dragon died. I got hit once by his single attack.

Most anti climactic, boring endgame fight I have seen in years in a game.
