True, they never stated that laurels would be the reward, but I also don’t think that they’ll reward either gold or items for all the achievments. Maybe some of them would get an item as reward, but probably not all (There probably won’t even be rewards for some).

IF they would reward laurels they probably either have to include new items to the laurel vendor or don’t reward all the achievments all together, because if not the T6 mats and unid. dye market would probably crash (If you already have everything for laurels, those items currently give the best laurel → gold conversion).

A new currency would also be a possibility.

I’m not talking about the newly added Secret of Southsun achievments but about all of the achievments, mainly the ones already included since the launch of the game.

When laurels got included in the game, ANet stated that not only daily achievments will have rewards but (all) other achievments will get them too.

In addition to that, in the april or march patch (Don’t know which exactly anymore), when they decreased the maximum amount of achievments points rewardable by the infinite amounts for salvaging and dungeon running, and they added as a note in the update notes that they included this in order to begin the rewarding of other achievments in the near future.

Any news on that? When it will come or what will be the reward?
