I am confused but being Irish you have to expect that. Week after week we read this and variations of this thread. I admire the effort the OP and others have put into this but it is all just plain stupid.

I am in Australia and play on Yaks bend and proud to do so. We fight with what we can with the numbers we have. Often a lot fewer than you would imagine. I play mostly NA prime plus Oceanic and some of SEA. My ping is terrible but hey that’s one of the small downsides to living here. I could play on EU and be a night capper with no difference in ping. I do not play SPVP or PVE.

Just because a servers location is EU or Stateside does not make them exclusive to those zones. Whether you are in The States or Europe prime time covers a lot of time zones. When does prime time start and what time does it finish.

The coverage wars has always been an issue you just need to look at the recruitment threads for that. Mass movement mainly upwards has affected the game more than anything. I have not seen a queue since season 1 finished. Look at our old adversaries Emery Bay this week after loosing players to SoS. People have to realize that we have done this ourselves and now we complain. The truth is T1 and T2 will eventually be where wvw is at and anywhere else a ghost town unless some love is given to WVW

10-15 yaks would fight the mass hoard of kaineng night after night during SEA prime. The last stand at garri and we often defeated them. Not as far as ppt but we wiped them over and over. Sad to see them where they are now. I had more fun then than the karma train of today with little defence or holding anything.

This is a 24 hour game and I have to accept that and continue to fight with what we have. If you lack numbers try and get them. If you cant get them fight hard and know you did you best. Winning isn’t everything and we do this for the comradeship and most of all for FUN.

Enough I need some bags and I have plenty of SBI to get them from good luck everyone

The funny thing was there was a Mesmer from each of opposition server doing the same hack at the same time poor form

I also play on Yaks Bend . Contrary to the OP I have really enjoyed our last 2 weeks. Sure we have been out numbered.

I play at different times. Got most of the achievements completed. 20plus guildies ran around laughing and joking running over SBI and in turn getting run over.

FA are far more skilled and without running stacking and buffing you would be insta killed. This week what the hell just run in .

Some garrison defences have been epic and have gone on wave after wave. wxp and bags galore. Who cares about ppt this last two weeks are just for fun. That was very clever SBI waiting on top of ybbl garrison and only sending part of your defense down took us awhile to sort you out.. You then came straight back but whilst you got our garri we jumped and took your upgraded SM.

So ok we are vastly outnumbered but it has been a lot of fun for all sides. I play because Benders are a great community we have our moments as all do but we fight with what we have and are good at it

Respect to everyone on IOJ and SBI for this week and no SBI and FA didn’t tank that was the stupid glicko system that dropped us 4 spots 1 week and put us up 3 the next and I regret it affected you both as well

Let me tell you a story At about 2 am AEST on BPBL we were funning around at your north camp. Not much happening only a few of you trying hard to take it back. At the same time you had 40 on EBBL doing stacking and practice runs (we were watching you) We were holding your whole borderland with 20 max and it was our holiday resort all red.

Now I don’t like spawn camping with 2 Omegas firing at your door but why on earth would you have a group of that size making no score for you for a long period of time. Maybe you need to relook at your priorities and communicate with each other.

Please provide screenshots of the 90 when 20 run riot this morning and you have 40 fiddling about whilst your map went red.

Stop trying to make excuses. Our players have played longer Our commanders have worked harder and we all work with one aim to do the best we can with what we have

We take their keeps while they are also queued on the map. (Dont use the queue bug excuse, we have seen well over 50-60 BP zergs running around your map)

It’s not an excuse, it’s an established fact at this point since the only time the BL is retaken by BP is when they CAN get those 50+ people all loaded in together. ….As opposed to when YB takes it over where BP players are seeing YB zergs of 90+.

That’s not an exaggeration either, that’s documented in screenshots in the Threads dedicated to that topic and there’s likely to even be some video proof floating around from BOTH SIDES if we can get people to actually start taking this issue seriously and treat it like the Network bug that it is instead of a stupid ForumWarrior talking point.

Believe what you want Say what you want We on Yaks know that we are not a zerg server. We are a strong community that fights together but separately do our own thing. Our map commanders are some of the best in the game. Our support and defensive teams do their jobs to back them up. Our roamers are out there doing their thing. We do not quit or lie down and we reached 600ppt today not because of numbers but because BP took their ball and ran away to that strange pve land. So get your act together there have been some awesome fights attack and defence all week. Regardless of the score this week bring us your best as you will need it next week.

FA SBI have zergs that can wipe us and you easily so if you complain this week just look at what is round the corner. BP boasted about what they could do —now that just made us mad, So suck it up as we have done many times over the year.

The thing that changed was only 6 in gold so any preference has been altered accordingly. Like others before me the match I want to see is SoS Mags SbI.

I just want good fights to hell with ppt. Last week we ran riot This week we find it hard to get out of spawn and for someone who played 12 hours a day for the last year I just find it all too sad. I only wvw and have had a blast but the current state of wvw is a concern.

The perceived need to win and to think you are the best has ruined the game due to players moving and Kain now Dragon falling is just an utter mess.

The league system is only going to be fun for maybe the top 4 and maybe and odd match elsewhere but hey the 1500 that my guild had during the first weeks is now 25-30 and 4 or 5 in wvw. Many are in t1or t2 but it is no more fun than the many close matches yaks have had over the year.

I am a proud Yaks Bender and have spent too many hours in WvW. I am the WVW guild leader of a larger gaming community. Once upon a time I would have 20 or so running NA prime time up to 30 Oceanic and a smaller but not insignificant 10-15 EU.
At reset we could have 30 plus controlling ybbl. Great fun was had week after week and reset was party central for ever so many. I am not the best player nor am I a theory crafter on builds if I run out and die so be it but I have had fun. My money has been well spent and provided me with great entertainment.

Like it or not the ranking system was a failure right from the start. Matches got stale and boring for many servers but were locked into their tiers. The open free transfer destroyed it even further. Even when it was stopped gamers had already got the idea that the grass is greener and continued to move. We saw the rise fall etc of the bandwagoners. The idea that the higher you are the better the game is. Different yes but not necessarily better.

Then the culling stopped. A great fix or was it!!!! We can now see the enemy so the blob wars started. I have no complaints the players developed their own ESport GVG. This appealed greatly to a large section of the community. For those like me who organised the defences, build the siege, did the upgrades and repaired the gates and walls. No love was shown to us. little reward for hours and hours of behind the scenes work but we did it for our server. I do not use the term loyalty lightly but it was exactly what I felt and many like me. Even today with all that Yaks has gone through over the last few months those of us out there day after day are amongst the greatest people I have played with in almost 35 years of gaming.

The new matchups began as far as Yaks was concerned we had some of the closest matches in the history of the game with the 3 places being decided in the last 12 hours. However it very quickly became obvious the the ratings were never going to close that much. Over this period the once stable server of Yaks began to loose whole guilds. With only one or two exceptions they all moved to higher servers in TC SOR DB. Now I am not talking a few people. I am talking over 50 and nearer to 100 if indeed not more. We have been on the shortlist for many potential guilds but they too went to kitten. My own guild lost many firstly to SoS because we had little or no oceanic presence and they were getting no play time worth a cracker. then another group to TC. they just needed a new experience. When I speak to some of them today they moved they saw and now they are playing something else or waiting to do so.

I went to have a look and as I write this is my Alt account which is based on TC. A great server but no more fun to play on than my dear Yaks Bend. However the sheer numbers I wish we had just half as many.

So the recent changes well what can I say that hasn’t been said already. I am one of the silent majority but it has been said by everyone else. The map great the buffs well I wont comment. GvG the players game not mine personally destroyed such a shame. No longer did PVT matter more the fight or the battle. I came out from behind the walls and fought Pyro from Mags and had a blast—-but died even more hehe

So at last we look to the leagues as you have said will be as you envisaged them. I am sorry Sir as someone and the end of their career of 45 years in senior management I would sack you on the spot. If you ran a shop selling yesterdays fashion you would be broke. If you sold a lemon of a motor car you would be washing dishes to earn your rent. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that if 1,2,3,4,5,6, plays the remaining 6 there is only 1 winner whilst the rest will be spawn camped. Look at our matchup this week if we were not off killing a dragon or trying to in overflow what do you think the score would be. As much as I hate being stomped week after week I hate doing the stomping also.

It is not too late to re-consider your plan or the plan of your seniors. It is flawed ill thought out and it wont take 7 weeks to work that one out. Blind freddy can see it and I for one can but hey my opinion doesn’t matter. Or at least that is how Anet makes us feel.

Finally I want to thank all those many players on all servers that have stuck with their server since day dot Do not move for the sake of a meaningless award. Follow that Dorito that you love and respect. They are the ones that make this game worth playing. Yaks Bend has great commanders that make my non work time so enjoyable and I thank you for all your work. I am sure all servers have commanders to thank also

You know who can run the maps Just follow them

May as well add Yaks. We will fight for every inch but T1/2 servers get the increase.
