It’s not possible. You cannot run in large groups with another server. You’d end up targeting them and AoEing them by accident.

Even if you did go with the “You don’t attack us at all, we don’t attack you”, that only lasts until one of the 2 servers feels slighted.

Only one server can be in first place. 2 servers would have to disregard points entirely, in which case, why bother? Just to push 1 server to 3rd? So, who agrees to take second for the extra hollow ’didn’t even win when we totally and intetionally gamed the system’ trophy? HA! Yeah, sign me up!

That AND we all know we don’t control the majority of our players on map. You may pretend otherwise, but more than half the population wouldn’t get the memo, and even if they did most of those would say screw that, I kill who I want.

I’d welcome SoS trying this. I’d laugh my skull open when SoR totally screwed them on it. Har har.

Alliances would most likely be “We will attack here, you attack there” — not running together in groups.

NEXT WEEK SoS+SoR vs JQ.

Might be quite interesting dynamic working with another server.

I highly doubt you will be able to get this going. SoR is well known for not wanting to team with other servers. In T2 losing week after week to BG players from IoJ purposed a 2v1 several times and got flamed by us for it.

We like our 3 way fights to much.

SoR doesn’t work well with others? that’s ok it was just a thought to change things up for a week. I’ll talk to you in about a months time and see how you feel then.

Probably not. But if you’re going to push SoR to team up, be careful what you wish for. <insert evil laugh here>

SoR does not cooperate with other servers. If your name is red, you’re a target, that’s it.

That is not to say we do not take advantage of situations and make tactical decisions not to engage one group over the other.

Just kidding, great match-up and good fights were had. Props to all three servers for making this a fun week.

All the kitten over JQ’s coverage needs to just stop.

I’m sure this has been posted before, but I feel this is incredibly important that it deserves some serious attention.

When entire guilds decide to have organized events inside the JP, the only thing this accomplishes for the rest of the server who are trying to play competitively is clog up queue slots and prevents guilds who actually want to WvW from doing so.

I have nothing against the JP and people who do it and I don’t care how people get into the JP or where it is located, just please make it so people can JP without taking precious queue slots.

JQ will hold the crown for a while now I think with free transfers closed.

Yeah I have no doubt that JQ will pretty much take home first place T1 in every match-up now that I’ve witnessed the devastating 24/7 coverage.

But I expect that when ratings have normalized, SoS, SoR and BG will be the only servers shuffling through the T1 match-ups and we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other in the coming weeks.

This week’s match-up was great for both the winners and the losers and while the fight’s not yet over, just want to say it’s been fun and I look forward to more JQ/SoR/SoS match-ups.

Not sure if you and I are watching the same scoreboard, but it’s an even fight mostly between SoR and SoS .

SoS is fighting hard and during oceanic timezone they are the ones doing the demolishing and have a very good chance of catching up to SoR’s score during these times.

Unfortunately JQ’s lack of coverage gaps makes it difficult for either server to keep up.

Just wanted to say nice job JQ on taking the lead. Your coverage is insane.

JQ’s been fielding a strong presence since EU TZ and now we’re almost entering NA prime and they’re still going pretty strong.

Stories of JQ’s strong weekday presence were certainly not exaggerated. We’ve really got our work cut out for us.

There is something screwy with queue times and the amount of people that a team can currently field. I believe its well below previous weeks.

I have friends on JQ and its not just the problem of numbers or coverage its getting the right people into the maps. Not just under-leveled pugs looking for map completion or node farming but solid groups of guild members.

This strange occurrence is hurting JQ, they haven’t been able to get their zerg’s running at full potential. I’m from SoS so I know what its been like over the last two weeks since they got all the new guilds in. Perhaps I’m wrong and they are flagging this week.

This is happening on every server. Not just JQ, but on SoR (and from what I hear, SoS too).

Half of SoR guilds spend the majority of NA prime time waiting in queue.

base from my personal opinion, JQ fights harder than SoS but don’t have the proper coverage. So i’ll say you need to grab that spot from SoS. They do not deserve it.

JQ doesn’t have the proper coverage? You are in for a real surprise. Basing coverage off the weekend is well…a big mistake and horribly inaccurate. If anything you need to be cheering for JQ to not get second. Because we need to hold them to as low of points now as possible if we want to have any shot of winning this week.
JQ is going to be ticking 400+ during the day for 5 of the 7 days of the competition. We are going to have to fight HARD during NA Prime to hold onto first. It’s definitely still anyone’s game but we won’t know how the rest of the week might look until after tonight.

Pretty much. At the current rate of JQ’s PPT, we need to maintain a 10-15k lead by the end of NA prime to even hope to win against JQ.

I hope the new ratings formula puts us in the same matchup next week. Most fun had in WvW.

TC has been stepping up their tactics and trying new (mostly successful) strategies in the face of SoR’s overwhelming numbers.

You can hear the change in tone of commanders on TeamSpeak when certain TC guilds have been spotted.

Keep up the good fights. Win or lose TC never fails to deliver them. Same can be said about SBI too.
