Unlike a stun breaker, it does not remove effects that are already in place, although many skills granting stability will also remove stuns

so if skill doesn’t say it breaks stuns then it doesn’t, only prevents new stun.

Oh yah and that mortal strike debuff in gw1 was so OP. No team played without it, forgot what it was called, but reduce healing and max hp by 20%… and all the hex spam in that game with hexs way more powerful than in this game. You have nostalgia or something to think gw1 conditions were better. Remember glass arrow ranger !

They need to bring back GW1’s usage of conditions.

Players must be smart on when they apply the, and when they remove them, not just spam away and run around while the conditions do their thing.

The current rate condition spam not only dumbs down the game, but also makes inviable direct damage builds compared to DPS condition spam ones.

gw1 conditions were way worse than here… the only one hard to get was daze and that was stupid OP vs any caster. Same for blind vs melee. But ranger/ele/necro and some derv build had very powerful spammable conditions. Most monk were built around cleansing, even their elite skill was a cleanse on 1 mon out of the 2 most teams took, and sometimes two more cleanse. Another popular build was that skill that transfer all conditions from teammate to monk then heal the monk, also could transfer to enemy. I forgot most of the skill names it’ been a while.

The only thing that made conditions bearable in gw1 was the fact there was healers. They could cleanse and heal the player and even then it was a lot of pressure. Here you get conditions if can’t drop combat you die :\
