From my experience and everyone I have talked to, everything that you received in the moments before the DC is gone.
I have to say that I have been very impressed with Sanctum of Rall (my server) this week. I have seen the players come together and coordinate with each other very successfully. The commanders (and others when needed) have stepped into their position well and the server has followed. Part of the reason we have more people in WvW is that more guilds are starting to join in. The guild I am part of had select representation prior to this week. Last night, for the first time, we had our own zerg roaming the world.
I was with the zerg that took over the map for much of the day on Wednesday. I personally did not see any exploits on either side. There were certainly things that frustrated me and were challenging to deal with, like groups of invisible players (legitimate with the right skills). I do not doubt that there were those who cheated. To be honest, I suspect they are present in every server in relatively the same numbers.
I think the vast majority of players on Sanctum of Rall would agree with me on this: we do not want cheaters/exploiters representing our server.
