Hello. I’ve just returned after over a year long break from the game. I have 6.7k hours on my account which have mostly been spent in dungeons/fractals. I stream on Twitch on weekdays between 10am-2pm+ UTC. I’m looking for a guild with active semi-hardcore PvE players during these hours. It would be amazing to find a guild that will run raids at this time, but that’s probably a stretch. I’m currently on EU but will make the switch to NA for a guild with members that are online during these times.

My main is mesmer, fully ascended assassin/berserker. I also have guardian, warrior and ele in fully ascended berserker. All are stocked with proper slaying potions and dps food for every dungeon, along with slaying sigils for specific dungeons such as Arah and CM. I’m looking for a guild with like-minded people who get dungeons/fractals done efficiently, but still have fun. Not looking for anything super elitist. By elitist I mean record setting groups and stuff like that.

My stream can vary between 50-150 viewers on any given day. The guild would be getting a fair amount of publicity, so hopefully that’s okay.

Just getting back into the game in preparation for HoT and it seems my guild is not doing well. I’m looking for a new PvE focused guild with meta build mentalities and also interesting and likable personalities. I prefer guilds that use voice com frequently to communicate during runs and also have a laugh. I should add that I am currently on Desolation EU server.

My main interest/concern is finding a guild that will be doing raids on a weekly basis. Also a guild where I won’t end up being part of some B or C raid team with sub par players.

I have a mesmer, guardian, warrior, and ele (in that order of how much I prefer to play each) in fully ascended armor/weapons/trinkets. Currently all assassins/berserkers, but will be changing accordingly to what is needed for raids. Might even be interested in trying out other classes for raids, and I will have fully ascended sets ready for them.

I’ve completed all dungeons paths many, many times, used to duo sell Arah with my mesmer, and I am personal fractals level 50. I consider myself very knowledgeable in speedrunning tactics, however I may not be up to date on the newest tricks (if there are any) as I haven’t really been playing much in the past year. I consider myself a fast learner as well.

I also stream on Twitch! 1.6k followers in 4 months and rapidly growing, averaging 40-50 concurrent viewers per stream. Sometimes 100+! So the guild would get some attention there, if that’s alright.

So do you not have a problem with this method being used to farm the Ultimate Dominator title? Because majority of players were doing it for the title, since the loot is not really that amazing due to diminishing returns. Silverwastes/dungeons still yielded more gold per hour.

I’m an EU player looking for a fun guild or group of people who run dungeons/fractals preferably in the morning or early afternoon hours or at least have a few people who play during this time. I’m looking for people who run meta zerker builds with a minimum of ascended trinkets and weapons, if not fully ascended.

While I’m only interested in speedrun style play, I do prefer to be on voice com and have a good time, otherwise I find gameplay too serious and boring. If all you can do is talk about the current path or fractal we’re doing, then I’m not going to enjoy your company. After over 6k hours, majority being in dungeons/fractals, this game is too stale to be taken that seriously.

I main mesmer but also play ele, guard, and warrior. All are fully ascended berserker, except my mesmer is fully ascended assassin/berserker mixed.

Returning player here possibly looking for a new community to play with, preferably on EU servers. I used to play with a very small group of friends and that group disbanding and leaving gw2 led to my eventual 5 month break from the game. We mostly ran dungeons and fractals together in a very efficient manner using meta builds and tactics, but also honestly enjoyed the company of each other and we made tedious grinding a fun and friendly time. Not only were they some of the best players I’ve known, but they were the kindest as well. It seems very difficult finding people that share both these qualities. Either people are social, fun and play the game casually, or they are unforgiving, elitist, and play the game in the absolute most efficient way possible. I’m just wondering if there are more people existing out there other than my old friends who are a combination of the two, being good at the game, and also fun to be around.

I play mesmer (my “main”), warrior, ele, and guardian regularly. They are all fully ascended berserker (aside from underwater weapons) and my mesmer also has an additional full ascended assassin set. All have 70+ AR for maximum level fractals.

Aside from dungeons, I often farm the most popular or recent PvE events going on, or I chill in WvW if there’s a likable commander tagged up and vocally leading on the server’s public TS. I also try to keep up on most new achievements introduced into the game, but at the moment I’m quite a bit behind after being away for 5 months.

I’m not interested in guilds with mandatory events or sign ups. That’s way too serious and stressful for my liking. I’m just looking for people who hang out and group up when they’re online at the same time, and speed clear through whatever they’re doing with jokes and laughter over voice com. Silent runs tend to bore me quickly. I used to do the mindless grind thing, but just can’t bare it anymore. I need some form of entertainment or social interaction while running the same dungeons or events every day.

Maybe I’m asking too much and I’ll just have to appreciate the old friends I had for the amazing, unique people they were. But if not, reply here or inbox me if you’re someone or a guild with a similar mindset!

I can’t get any character out of Gendarren Fields. -.- I log in at Vigil Keep, try to port anywhere else, and get this error. Another day of jogging around the mystic forge!

So, in other words, you would like legendaries to be created based more on the way you spend your time playing the game, rather than grinding gold like everyone else has done?

Also, why should legendaries have anything to do with sPvP requirements when you can’t even use them there? They are cosmetic skins for PvE/WvW.

Legendaries aren’t based on luck, they’re based on grinding gold. Some very few people get lucky, but in reality, most who have made their legendaries didn’t get any help from luck along the way. You can acquire 100g in two days if you put decent effort into it with dungeons and/or gathering. You’re just asking for the focus to be on a different type of grind other than gold.

I did not like the purple initially, but I have grown to accept it. I’m happy that they at least tried to add the trail back. It’s smaller, but whatever. At least it’s something. Before I crafted the scepter (I crafted post-updates), I thought the footfalls looked weird in all the videos I saw, but after seeing them on my own character, I fell in love. My only complaint now is the no glow while stowed in the day problem. That really needs a fix because the skin looks very boring and plastic without animation. If it glows in the night while stowed, how freaking hard is it to make it go back to glowing in the day like it always used to? With that issue fixed, I’ll be a happy camper, among many others, I assume. Who isn’t going to want it to go back to glowing while stowed in the day? If someone crafted it prior to the updates, then they will be happy since that’s the look it had before. If someone crafted it after the updates, they should be happy too since it glows in the night while stowed so they must have been okay with having it glow at all.

Everyone has their idea of the PERFECT look for their legendaries, but in reality, we know not everyone is going to be completely happy with anything that Anet does. I think asking them to change the footfalls and the night time color is asking too much, as it was already a bonus that they added them. I’m sorry for the people who crafted this scepter before the updates and hate it now, though. I personally prefer this version over that version because I really like the footfalls and the day/night cycle, even if they aren’t exactly the way I would have designed them myself. Having a weapon that leaves a stormy trail behind me when I walk and changes color from night to day is good enough for me. Just make it go back to glowing in the day, too, please.

I was thinking the same thing. Why no response to Meteorlogicus’ obvious bugs? Can’t you at least let us know if you’re aware of the bugs or not and if you plan to do anything?

Great screenshots to show exactly what the bugs are. Anet, please sit down and fix your errors. Give us back the daytime glow when stowed and the trail at all times. I’m just amazed that you haven’t done anything yet. Are you really that oblivious to what you’ve done? You botched this beautiful scepter.

I really hope they’re planning on fixing the no sheathed glow and no trail issues. I have everything to make one right now. I really want to, but if these things aren’t returned, I’m not sure that it’s worth it.

If only they would return the sheathed glow during the day and the trail, I would make this scepter right now. I love all the new changes, just give us back what was already there before editing it.

People who are asking for more spell effects, different footfalls, etc, are really pushing their luck. The changes are great, they just need to give us back what was originally there before and what made people want to make the scepter in the first place. There are people here suggesting two different sets of footfalls, but do you know any legendary that has TWO sets of footfalls? Not even Eternity has that. You can’t be whining for that with an ordinary legendary. I’m already impressed that they gave Meteorlogicus a day and night cycle when the only other legendary with that extravagant concept is Eternity.

Great job with the new effects, Anet. Please just return the sheathed glow and the trail effect.

I think the new effects are lovely. People are so picky. I’d rather have the new footsteps than none at all. The purple doesn’t bother me that much. It would be better if the bottom part of the handle was also purple, seems like they were a little sloppy there, but it still doesn’t make me dislike it. It’s still very cool that it changes from night to day. The only other legendary that has such an effect is Eternity, and remember people, that is two legendaries combined. I think they went above and beyond with that idea for Meteorlogicus and I applaud them. All the added details, in my opinion, were a much needed addition to a previously lacking legendary.

However, the new lack of glow when stowed during the day and the disappearing trail is not cool. I can’t imagine it’s intentional, considering it glows when stowed at night and the trail effect still exists but only during day to night transitioning. But I wonder if they’re going to ignore the errors and not bother putting in the effort to fix them. With those two things fixed, I’ll make this scepter in 10 minutes.

Same here. Driving me crazy. Happening while I’m in the gauntlet queue and I’m losing all the tickets I spend on applying gambits and queuing up. Repaired client, didn’t help.

I 100% agree with this suggestion and was hoping to see it in the future plans also. Both of my legendaries are on my mesmer and for that reason I have no desire to play any of my other 4 level 80 alts, and now I have no desire to level any more alts. Since I’ve spent over 2k gold and put in hundreds of hours farming these legendaries, I have no desire to look at anything less while I play. The legendaries I have are the only two I like, and I feel it would be such a waste to create the same legendaries again just so I can have them on multiple characters.

Also, my auras bug out in combat over 50% of the time. It’s really disappointing. And Bolt still duplicates itself on every swing. I can’t understand why there is work being put into new legendaries when the current ones are still bugged.

Same exact thing happening to our guild right now. We completed the Blazeridge guild challenge just over an hour ago. We all received our personal rewards, but the challenge did not complete in the missions panel and we have not been awarded merits. It still remains active. This is the first challenge we’ve ever done as a guild and obviously we hadn’t done it this week since we all received personal rewards. We are not even close to merit capped, so that’s not an issue either.

Would really appreciate a response to this from a Dev because I have seen other similar topics regarding guild challenge merit bugs over the months that have never received a reply from a Dev.

Hey, mates. You just described exactly what a few of my friends and I are trying to do. Our guild is under new leadership now, me being one of the two leaders. We are really trying to recruit a few more active, friendly people to make a solid little group of friends that want to play together and have fun. We mostly focus on PvE content.
