Guild Wars 2

This is ridiculous. I’m up to about 20 tries on this quest since “fixes” have been put in place. Last research group continues to just stand there. There is absolutely no reason that I should have to wait another whole week for a patch, especially when you say you have identified the problem. Sorry, but that’s just flat out ridiculous.

Have wasted way too much time/gold on this ONE quest, without compensation and without actual fixes. Something needs to be done NOW.

Back to Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2…

OK, I finally able to clear it. After trying so many times, here’s what went well for me:

1. Ignore the first dead Asura.
2. Clear all the mobs on the path of the first green circle.
3. Then ignore all the mobs and keep running to the 1st research team (on the hill).
4. Help 1st research team fight undeads.
*5. When it’s time to move, walk S-L-O-W-L-Y + in the middle of the path > making sure all research team is moving and following you.
6. Go into the cave after whisper agent clears the barricade.
*7. Clear ALL mobs inside the cave including southern exit BUT DO NOT GO NEAR the abomination that fights the 2nd team.
8. After southern exit is cleared, help 2nd team defeat the abomination.
*9. When it’s time to move, walk S-L-O-W-L-Y + in the middle of the path toward the southern exit.
10. After Trahearne summon his minions, go back and exit from the cave entrance.

It doesn’t matter whether Trahearne died, or left behind, because he will spawn next to you. Goodluck!

I followed these instructions exactly (doing this quest for the upteenth time by now) and to no avail. Everything seemed to be going ok, but for whatever reason a risen grub respawned after talking to the agent to trigger the escort to southern entrance quest. Maybe you’ve encountered this guy before, the one that moves back and forth at super speed and only through luck (at least with a shortbow, it keeps saying “out of range”) are you able to hit/kill it. After that the research team stopped following me and I proceeded to quit for the remainder of the night.

This is getting ridiculous.

Still bugged! 2nd group of researchers won’t follow. Something really needs to be done about this! Don’t tell us it’s fixed until you know for sure, just wasting time/silver over and over again. Completed this up until the “south entrance” part about 8 or 9 times. Feel cheated.
