Looks like you already have quite a few offers to look through but let me throw one more your direction. My guild, Mortvi Non Mordant (Yak’s Bend), is a small, casual, 18+, PvX guild. Our members have gotten to know each other quite well since launch. We are a relaxed guild who don’t mind failing over and over and we don’t get upset with players for not being “perfect”. We currently have 23 members and we having been working together on dungeons, specifically explorable mode Ascalonian Catacombs. We don’t set strict dates or times for events, we mostly just go do something when enough of us want to although occasionally a few of us do plan to meet at a certain time for a dungeon or WvW. We are most active during weeknights and weekends but a few people are on morning/early afternoon as well.

We have a website and mumble server. You are not required to have a mic but it helps to at least listen in for team activites when we do use mumble. We have a guild bank, emblem, and armorer. We are constantly running a 5% influence and 10% magic find buff. I will give a link to our website so you can look through that. You can also send me a message in-game if you have questions.

Who are we?
We are a new semi-casual guild focusing on enjoying a great game with each other. Our goal is to create a friendly atmosphere in the game that can serve as an escape from the real world for the few hours we play. We want everyone to feel welcome whether you are a once a week player or a daily player. No matter what your primary focus is, be it PvE, sPvP or WvW, we want to be able to meet that demand within our community. Our founders have years of experience in many different MMORPGs such as WoW, SWTOR, Age of Conan, Everquest 2, Rift, Final Fantasy XVI, Warhammer Online and of course, Guild Wars. From those games they bring practical experience to lead the guild in PvE and PvP content.

What do we believe?
We believe first and foremost that playing games should be fun. For us, gaming is a hobby- not a way of life. We believe that you should, and strongly encourage that you do, put your real life ahead of Mortvi Non Mordant. If that means you can only join us a few hours a week, that is okay. We agree with ArenaNet in that casual players should not be disadvantaged just because they can’t devote the same time to play as some other people. For this reason, Mortvi Non Mordant will not rank you based on the amount of time you play, but on how actively you support, help and play with the guild during the time you do get to play GW2.

What do we expect from you?
First off we ask that you be respectful to all members of Mortvi Non Mordant and also to any non-guild players we encounter during our play sessions. While we understand that sPvP and WvW are competitive arenas, we do not want to be one of those guilds that belittles those we beat- so please respect our opposition. Secondly, we ask that you participate with the guild in events, dungeons, crafting, sPvP or WvW. Only members who are viewed as active will have access to guild banks. “Active” is a relative term of course. As mentioned above, we will rank you based on you participation relative to the amount of time you are able to play. Understand that the reason for only allowing active members to use guild resources is because of GW2 multi-guilding feature (more on that below) and we don’t want any moochers. Finally, we want all our members to read and post on the guild website occasionally. This is where we will be keeping in touch with you guys outside of the game. It will be here that we will plan PvE groups, sPvP teams and strategies and WvW tactics.

Our position on multi-guilding
For those who may not be aware, Guild Wars 2 allows players to be part of multiple guilds at the same time. We feel this is a great feature because you don’t always want to play with the same group of people- and we understand that. We hope that we can be your primary guild (or even your only guild), but we expect to earn that privilege, not demand it. We do ask, however, that if you are online and not part of another guild that you would represent Mortvi Non Mordant so that through your helpfulness, friendliness and respect you would lead others to joining us.
