I kept crashing/freezing after 20-25mins of gameplay. It was fine last thursday but now been having this issue again.

It comes from the dungeon reward once you’ve finished the collection. And Yes, its gonna be available from laurel merchant once you’ve finished and unlock the trinket.

What pvp room is that rank farming? Daily custom cant do campers you win a round or 2 you have to go. I don’t see why they cannot have it available in laurel merchant its not like a cheat you using same amount of laurels for that ascended trinkets.

Due to Current changes with Dungeon Toning down, its been a struggle to farm the ascended trinket reward from dungeon once you buy all the pieces and parts of dungeon weapon/armor system. My suggestion is either bring back the good old fashion gold rewards from dungeon and have players play PvE dungeon or have the trinkets available from laurel merchant. I do believe Having those Sentinel trinkets available from Laurel Merchant are much more efficient and fair. Farming the token from sPvP is much more frustrating and inefficient to get them, since you cannot guarantee any wins. Sometimes, I’ve queued and play for 6 rounds and still haven’t win any single round. As a player that is really frustrating and made you rage quit the game.

Hi, my PC keep crashing when I have gw2 on. I can’t stay on for a while.

I have windows 10 64bit
Intel i7-6700k CPU @4.00GHz
16gb ram
MSI Geforce GTX960

But for some reason the game keep freezing the entire PC. I did all the possible tweaking but still the same any help will be surely appreciated.

This worked for me:

Find your hosts file here: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

Copy/paste the hosts file to your desktop.

Rename the file so it becomes “hosts.txt”

Now open the file with notepad. (you need to run as admin if you have that option)

Add this line at the bottom:

174.35.56.164 assetcdn.101.arenanetworks.com

Save the file.

Now rename the file again to delete the .txt so it has no file extension anymore and is just “hosts” again.

Now go replace your old hosts file with this new edited one on your desktop.
If you have the GW2 launcher already open, restart it.

This was someone else’s fix, but it worked for me when the Google DNS thing didn’t!

I guess Im Totally Screwed. :S i uninstalled the game i thought it was just me till i see this post. I’ve been tryin to redownload the game followed everyone’s suggestion but for some reason when i download the game it stops around 1600+ KB when it reached that point the download speed just dropped to 0KB/sec and it wont restart back up. Spotflux, i’m not so sure. it looks legit but also sacred to download might be a malware or something. anymore suggestion please feel free.. thank you
