I’m in the same predicament with race choice and worrying about how armor will look. However, I can say that as much as I LOVE the idea of being a Charr and the Charr animations, I don’t think I can actually play one. Yesterday I spent all day trying to get used to all the clipping on a Charr (for example, with any 2hand weapon in your hands as you run, the Charr knees will go through the weapon you’re holding. If you have a 1 hand weapon that is long enough it will sink into the ground when it is sheathed. Horns go though the shoulder gear depending on which horns you choose. Shields will cut into arms and legs). I’m so tired of playing human but they honestly look the best in ANY gear. If you go Norn though, I think they don’t look bad. From a lore standpoint, human fits the profession more than any other race.

So Thief would outclass Ele when roaming in WvW?

Between Thief and Ele, which one has more survivability and playstyle variations?

Hey guys, so my buddy is a Mesmer. I started playing this game at launch but left, came back, left, came back, etc. Basically, I just played around on multiple professions, nothing serious. However, now we are both wanting to get back into the game for WvW specifically. I have a 58 Necro that I’ve been currently playing, but honestly I’m looking for something that goes well with a Mesmer for duo roaming. Taking into account the new elite specializations and such, what profession seems to mesh well with Mesmer? I will play anything as I haven’t found a profession that I don’t like, but want to focus on something purely for synergy with Mesmer for now.

Yeah, it’s not ANet’s fault. Miscommunication between my friends and I. I guess I need to decide if I want to just not play for 7 days so I can transfer to Blackgate or end up coughing up some money in 7 days. IDK… Back to PoE until I can decide.

So my friends and I just started back up from a long hiatus and were getting situated with which professions we were going to play and were discussing which Home World since ours appears to be dead. We decided on Jade Quarry, so I was the first to transfer after deleting all my characters. Then, I get a text right after I make my toons and said that now the Home World is Blackgate. Everyone went to Blackgate to roll new toons for the feature pack on Tuesday and now I’m stuck on JQ. I don’t want to pay for a world transfer because I don’t have any high level toons, but I also don’t want to wait 7 days to play the game. Is there anyway to World Transfer before 7 days? I know about guesting, but we are going to focus on WvW.
