Guild Wars 2

I currently have 5 characters, my second one is a charr…
basically, he’s level 80, and right after the battle for fort trinity the story arc jumps to recovering the mystic map, and cleansing the source of orr, & now that I’ve done both, the story arc returns to temple of the forgotten god, and a light in the darkness is still completed though I haven’t done so with this character, for that arc he selected the fear of being dishonored by one’s comrades option with the pale tree conversation, however, now it seems to be set on fear of letting an innocent die. so this is all messed up, everything went fine with my first character, and this one is all screwy, I have 3 more characters on other parts of their personal stories though I don’t really want to carry on till I know just what’s going on… so, any help would be welcome.

for the last few months I’ve been playing guild wars 2 quite frequently, with very few and mostly minor issues. however, for the last few days while playing guild wars 2 my tv that I’m using as a monitor (which is hooked up through a HDMI cable to my video card) would suddenly go blank (as in the black screen) and the audio would freeze, creating an annoying tone, my computer would be totally unresponsive, so only rebooting my system would correct the issue. this seems to be happening randomly; sometimes it happens within 5 minutes of logging on, sometime it’s half an hour, or several hours.

here’s my pc’s specs
Op system: Windows7, 64 bit home premium edition
CPU: intel 3gh quadcore processor
GPU: ati Radeon HD 6850
RAM: 6GB ddr3

my issue seems to have worsened in the last day or so. the first time I logged in today and started playing, I got maybe 30 seconds of play before that black screen hit me, then I rebooted waited a few minutes, and logged in again, and that black screen showed up after a few seconds, this happened one more time, and finally this last time I logged in I didn’t get past the character selection screen. so this seems to be a lot less random at the moment…

i should also note that this issue started 2 patches ago, and this last patch… the one last night, seems to have worsened the issue.
