Indeed, Lissidragon. Officer chat would make things a lot easier when it comes to officer communication. And even if officers choose not to use it, a second guild channel can still be used for a lot of things.
Seconded. Not only does this apply to RP guilds, but game communities in general. Sometimes people within a guild want to talk about different things. They can’t just all party up constantly.
And really, take WvWvW as an example. One part of a guild might be playing it and are talking strategies, while another part is just being social in guild chat. It turns terribly cluttered very fast.
