PVE builds are fine, with a few tweaks. More AoE if you can, more projectile reflection and similar stuff than you would usually bring to a dungeon. You don’t really have to move traits around much if you don’t want to, but change up your utilities/majors as needed, a lot of people forget you can change those on the fly out of combat. Group movement speed buffs are always welcome.

Most of the fighting is in groups, not often 1 on 1. Lots of shooting up or down walls. Make sure to have an escape and condition removal ready. If you are rolling with 2 melee weapon sets, you’re going to have problems. It’s mostly ranged, the further the better.

We have the least presence in the middle of the night for the UK really. There are a few global guilds with people on during that time, but not enough to make much of a dent against VS. We could do a bit better with any leadership at all during that time, we usually just try to snipe a few camps and run around like headless chickens. We generally get the ‘outmanned’ buff starting around 2 A.M. or so. Admittedly what we have is probably enough to cause severe heartache to other servers once we get bumped down a bracket on Friday.

There has to be something that can be done. As it is right now, all of the cool strategic things they designed mean a great deal less than consistently having more people online for a few hours a day than any other team. That beats all tactics, siege equipment, keeps, choke points, the entire design is of less value than what time of day it is. That just feels wrong.

I would also just simply like a reason to show up when the fight is hopeless. There’s nothing I can do right now, the enemy has siege equipment and dozens of people at the spawn points. Even if I could ever catch one of them alone (almost never) they have the orb buffs, and many safe places to run so it’s extremely rare to get a kill.

So basically, when my side has given up, those of us who would actually still like to play are strongly discouraged to do so by the design of it. I’m not willing to pay all my money for repairs or siege just to become a loot pinata for the enemy. I’ll just try again on Friday and hope for the best I guess.

I got bit by this one several times tonight.

It gives an even bigger advantage to the outnumbering party.

Please reduce the power of orbs or remove them before 1 week matches.

It gives way too big of an advantage to the side that is already winning. I don’t really understand the logic in doing that at all.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with them.
