Guild Wars 2

I just can’t get into GW2.

I have tried out a few characters this week; Human Ranger, Norn Warrior, and finally a Asura Engineer. I just don’t think this game is for me and I can’t find the strength to log in. The world looks nice, but there is nothing new here that any other MMO already has to offer. I much prefer MMO’s with an established IP.

I’m Just downloading GW2 and I’ve had a good look through the site and Wiki. I haven’t decided on which Profession to go with yet.

I normally select a melee DSP so I’m leaning toward Warrior (or maybe Guardian). I’m not into PvP, but was interested in PvE, Story and Dynamic Events.

I’m interested to know from players what’s the preferred ranged DPS Profession in GW2? I checked out Ranger but the forums are not that positive.
