Guild Wars 2

same here. I type something in guild chat, I go into a different chat tab and when I go back to my guild chat tab the messages are gone. mine and my guild mates. ive tried going invisible then back to online, nope, I even left my guild then re-repped it still no.

game is fine now, but like others my guild chat is freaking out, when I change tabs then go back to my guild tab, the messages not just mine are gone. /sigh, game pls, anet pls fix

Just exactly the same problem for me! I’m going to try this evening the solutions I’ve read in the forums. I’m going to try this one:

1.) Create a folder for the game to install in. I created a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\GW2
2.) Move the Gw2Setup.exe file into this directory and rename it to Gw2.exe.
3.) Run the installer.

trying this right now so far so good, my game is 57% done with the reinstall. fingers crossed it works. I love this game too much to be mad/annoyed or upset with it.

Thanks so much Hrodvitnir, ive got my fave game back. I love Spain (much better weather than England) and I love you, as a life saver

so I had the problem with the patch got to 1 file remaining, I closed my client a couple times still nothing. so I uninstalled the game. tried to reinstalled no dice gave up went to bed. tried again this morning, nope. I had a look at here, disabled everything like I saw a dev tell someome, restarted my comp and it worked. I logged in had all the new features. I even ran around on my Asura Necro in 1st person, which I love btw. I logged out, enabled everything and restarted my comp again. I get back to my desktop and GW2 icon is not on my desktop, which makes me remember that I was never asked to put in disk 2. I checked for GW2 files, nothing. so I tried to reinstall for the I don’t even know how many times now, nope 0KB (0KB/s). im not great with computers infact im bad with them. ive tired solutions that the community has found, either theyre not working for me or im doing them wrong. I have submitted a ticket saying pretty much the same thing, but if anyone can help me understand the fixes people have come up with itd really help me.
