BUMMER! Well is it at all viable for roaming solo or small group even?

I am a noob warrior and have really only done pvp with mine, but I often read that using axe main and off hand is bad for WvW. Can someone explain why this is the case? I am having a blast with it in pvp. Thanks a bunch!

This is what I do in WvW. I do use the rifle, but I wouldn’t say that my build is based around it. Mostly used for flame aura and getting stealth combined with my flame and smoke fields. The only weakness this build has in my opinion is conditions, that’s why I take the runes of melandru and the XII trait in alchemy. Hopefully this can be of some use to you. The thing I enjoy the most about this build is the ability to run head first into the enemy zerg and coming back alive.

I don’t get 20k crits but I’ve been able to do some pretty interesting things with it. I take sword warhorn for mobility. I took the leg specialist trait so that it makes it easier for me to land volley and opportunist makes it so that I pretty much always have fury combined with “For Great Justice” and signet of rage. I also take sigil of fire for some extra AOE. I use this in WvW a lot. Keeping in mind I am usually rolling around with a shout guardian. Hopefully this can be of some help for you

Well, I took elixir c as a way to generate more boons. For each boon that is on me I get an additional 1% damage boost. Should I still take rocket boots instead? Also, elixir s is not just a way to soak up damage, it’s a stun break.

This is the build I am currently using, its about cashing in on the boons you get from elixirs and increased damage from conditions. Tell me what you think, what you would change. Wanted to do something different than the typical HGH build so I thought this was a pretty fun way to play it.
