I find this map to be complete deconstructive to sPvP. It promotes the use of tanky/burst aoe builds due to the fact all the capture points (including the skyhammer) are extremely small. Not only is the point just small on its own (like it normally is) but there are walls preventing movement on about 1/2 of the area around it, forcing people to stay in the very small area. Also, the floor falling apart as well as the cramped space prevents ANY kind of movement build from functioning properly. I can’t count the number of times I have fallen through the map while using Flanking Strike, or Withdraw because the floor decides to fall out half way through my animation/movement. I refuse to play on this map and will only ever leave the match immediately when I get it. Please either remove this map from the game or remove it from arena.
I’m done trying to make thief work as well as the other professions. I see no role for them to play that another profession can do twice as well and still perform another role as well. Balance has been handled poorly, as well as mechanics (which are terrible. Pressing 2 buttons over and over is so much fun…).
Putting my thief (which is my main) on the bench due to being useless in pve, meh in wvw, and not great in pvp.
This may be a less useful post, but I feel that thieves don’t bring as much to the table as the other professions. When I play a elementalist or a warrior, I feel VERY different depending on my build and how I can help my team. As a thief, it feels the same no matter my build. Applying a low duration condition and a poison to someone is great but feels extremely lack luster compared to many of the other utility skills other professions receive.
