As I have been telling my people, what Kaineng really should experience, is a total defeat. Like, totally, with absolutely no spark of hope to fight, like total despair. Only then, we’ll be going back to the old Kaineng – Karma train day and night, Knocking down doors one by one just for the fun of it, and not the score. Because when you start thinking competitive, you put stress on yourself, and when you put stress on yourself, you’ll start to find scapegoats to release your anger on. It’s human nature, so I don’t blame you. It takes real courage to embrace the fact that, this is still just a game. You can call me <insert insulting name here>, or whatever, I don’t care. I am and will always be proud as a Kaineng player. WvW is just an add-on experience to the whole game, there’s still lots of sPvP, PvE, and new content to explore

We should just go back to when we were having fun putting 14 arrow carts up at cliffside and just defending it while telling jokes about looking to the east on the dawn of the third day =P

I think I should clear up some of what Darxio was saying….

The Commanders of KAIN are more than a little frustrated at how last week turned out…. Kaineng as a server tried to devide up the clans to defend different parts of the WvW maps….

KAIN had the northern part of our BL and KR and some other smaller guilds had the southern part, while WAR, iSpy, and noQQ were going to focus on EB…

This strategy worked great for the first half or so of the week…. however as the week went by we noticed less and less of EB was ours and sometimes we held nothing at all…. This isnt to say so much that WAR, iSpy, and noQQ weren’t doing their jobs just that for some reason, maybe they had less ppl on or wanted to do some PvE, they were losing ground….

And that in itself would be okay whatever good try maybe try something new next week…

but the Commanders in KAIN litterally were in our BL for 8 to 12 to longer shifts without leaving cause of constant battles and pushes….. Like Darxio said…. a group of maybe 10 of us… left for 10 min to get the jump puzzle in EB with the help of mesmer portals…. and EVERYTHING was gone in that 10 min time span….

More than once we had to quit dungeons halfway because we got called back to our BL so that we could keep the stuff there…. and even one time we got there and Klazart had driven the zerg out already…. Props to Klazart for that BTW… but you can understand how frustrating that can be

The other thing we noticed by only having KAIN and KR run our BL is that randoms on our server are horrible at communicating to the Commanders…. I don’t know how it is on other servers but we get people who say “DR zerg here now” and then dont tell where “here” is….

Darxio is more frustrated at the fact that we as a server just dont work together enough…. and I am inclined to agree

KAIN is taking a week off partially cause of the long shifts we had to pull and partially because we are just frustrated that we dd so well the first half the week and then fell apart at the end

also to the person who said we “quit” our duty to protect the BL…. that was an organizational trend we tested that one week… so it isn’t like a promise to only ever do that… we were testing to see if we could organize WvW a little better and now that the week is over… We should step back as a server and see what went well and what didn’t….

Highlighed area… that sounds an awful lot like blaming War/iSPY to me.

For the record nothing was ever mentioned to me, as leader of Warsworn, that EB was specifically ours…. didnt need to as its obvious you guys holding KBL allowed us to do more in EB.

I’m sorry if it came across that way, however that isn’t what I meant… there could be lots of reasons as to why the area was lost but it is rather demoralizing to see a whole map that was being dominated early in the week get over run….

Again I don’t mean that it was your fault or you were wrong… just that seeing it gone means that they can focus solely on the BL to wipe us out and it is demoralizing….

No I said we were losing stuff in EB…. you are assuming it is because I blame you…. EB is the hardest map to hold since all three servers focus on it

Also There are some people in KAIN that openly dislike your commanders…. and to be fair, from what I read on forums…. some of your players don’t much care for our commanders….

That does not mean however that everyone in KAIN hates you…. nor am I saying that you all hate KAIN….. there are bound to be individuals who dislike each other….

All I said from my post was that we need to re-evaluate the structure we set up….. Now you can read that as me blaming you…. or you could read it as we need to re-evaluate the structure we set up….

I am not going to sit here and argue with you simply because you personally seem to have some distrust or even hatred for me… even though I don’t believe I know you….

However I will restate that I would like to have a meeting to talk about how we can improve upon what happened last week… so any commanders reading this: Lets see if we can set up a time to actually work on this…

Again… KAIN isn’t calling anyone out… we are simply taking a break because we are exhausted right now… We need to simply back down from trying to point fingers and say its so and so’s fault…. cause no one here should want to do that…

what we should do is hold a WvW meeting and talk about what we can do to make our system better

and you are right we shouldn’t have to put in work like hours… so you shouldn’t get upset when people take a break after doing so

No on said it was evermoor alliance’s fault at all…. you really shouldn’t put words in people’s mouths like that

and where is all this “hate from our guild towards yours”? All that was said is that too much effort was put into this new organizational system and it didnt work…. people get tired of working too much then they take a vacation… its the same thing….

I’m sure some players from WAR and iSpay are burnt out on WvW too

I level all my alts in WvW cause I dont feel like grind up PvE…. you can EASILY get several levels an hour depending on what you are doing…. if you are just running around aimlessly killing random people … you are gonna get ganked and you aren’t gonna have a lot of XP….

if you get a couple of friends and take camps, sentries, and dolyaks… you can get a lot of xp ….

as for the whole “you have to play in a zerg or you will die” thats stupid…. I ran with 3 other people and we can take towers and camps all day with few deaths if you play smart

O.o Kaine was in KAIN???? I have never even seen him in game =/ and I am one of the main members of KAIN….. Even if I did see him he obviously didn’t leave a lasting impression….

Also… you should look at how you act when you are a member of a guild… because like it or not you are representing that guild whenever you say something…. People will associate you with that guild and this can lead to tension between otherwise friendly guilds…. Honestly this exact reason is why a certain guild that transferred to DR recently is getting a lot of grief…. because of the actions of one person…. (not trying to say anyone was wrong just stating a fact)

also I don’t think any one group is responsible for kaineng winning… it was the day crew keeping the game close and then SoS working nights to keep us in the game…

I honestly believe that some FC saw themselves as winning and didn’t help out as much in the second half of the week, where kaineng really pulled its act together…

Also as for who brought more people over…. I don’t know… I know that Fubuki brought me and the couple people I played with on Darkhaven over… and I constantly see stories of people who were brought over by his posts….

I can not say I have heard one person claim to be brought to this server by kaine….

That being said I think Fubuki has the right idea in this thread … We are kaineng… we should be out there fighting FC and DR and giving them a good fight… we should not be here fighting with each other

So I think I’m gonna take a page outta Fubuki’s book on this one and if you wanna flame me for what I said go ahead and do it by yourself

Honestly, during the day you guys are getting the most points… but its usually only by about 50…. and its constantly changing whose on top…. it isn’t like we are getting crush… nor are you guys….

Honestly I just feel bad for DR who get overshadowed in all of the fighting in this thread….

Props to DR for keeping up with us… you guys have stayed pretty high in points as well

actually Kaineng didn’t lose during they day… its even during the day….

I am on Kaineng right now. I transferred over from Darkhaven when I got tired of the queues and read fubuki’s posts…

The first thing I did, with one of my guild mates that transferred with me, we join WvW. We spent almost all our time and money building up the defenses for Cliffside and defended it well into the night.

While there I saw Fubuki and his guild as long as lots of other guilds working together to actually improve the server…. but overall it was a pretty laid back and helpful server…

Over the next few weeks I noticed that the server got more and more people who transferred over and started trying to force themselves into leading instead of working together…. Then they would never be seen again after they failed to get things to work in their favor.(I assume they transferred off somewhere else…) I also saw some of the main WvW guilds transfer out…

I agree with Fubuki when I say that there has been a HUGE effort by most of the remaining WvW guilds to recruit in PvE… and it works.

I understand that FC is upset that they simply don’t have a night crew, but that may simply mean you have to fall down in the rankings… that’s how the game works and its not Kaineng’s fault you guys don’t have a night time crew.

Kaineng’s chest bumping is deserved, but it IS overplayed. Yes Kaineng was the last place server and are now fighting back and doing well, but we have only moved up ONE place. Our achievement isn’t that we won this week… our achievement SHOULD be that we had a close fight this whole week and ESPECIALLY in the last couple of DAYS….

the daytime fights for the past 3 or so days have been amazing….instead of getting rolled and only being able to defend ONE tower for a couple of hours, we were fighting on equal ground with the other two servers.

So long story short… Both Kaineng and the other two servers are right, and both are wrong.

Kaineng is an underdog because they started in last place…. but they worked to move up…. even getting transfers from other servers is due to the work Fubuki and others have put into it….

This win is deserved….. but its also not the win that we should be proud of…. I would much rather keep the day time fights all hours of the day but we can’t recruit people for your servers.

Obviously, no matter what world you are or how good you are, the other worlds in WvWvW fighting each other is going to affect how everything works out. So in that regard Devona’s Rest did help us by fighting elsewhere while we capped SM.

However saying that you helped us, like you knew what we were planning and your whole server would have agreed with your way of thinking is a little much.

Last night I transferred to Kaineng and joined WvWvW and the first thing I noticed was how organized they could be without bickering like little children. In my last world, I did not want to WvWvW because you would see small groups of 4 or 5 people just wandering around picking off lone players not really helping, and someone in chat would just sit there insulting them…

In Kaineng, they would simply say a place needed help and people went there. If someone didn’t go, they didn’t waste time yelling at them. They may occasionally ask for more help but they weren’t going to start a pointless fight about it.

Also because of this attitude a couple of players REALLY out did themselves fortifying Cliffside, the last stand of Kaineng, last night. With everything else gone, and a massive defense set up, we managed to hold out against both worlds trying to take the tower.

We eventually lost the tower, but not without a fight and a lot of rather amusing LotR quotes about helms deep, Gandalf coming on the third day, and you shall not pass!

tl;dr: Kaineng is what WvWvW should be… organized fun without drama
