Guild Wars 2

Hello.
I’m fairly new to guild wars 2 in general and this is my first time on the forum.

About 6 days ago I lost access to my account, apparently through a hacking. I had a pretty secure password, but apparently not good enough.

After doing lots of digging through the guild wars account recovery pages and some help from the awesome support team, I had my password reset and now I’m back in the game.

When I booted up the client, though, My characters were gone and replaced with an asura ranger, level fifty out in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know if this was some weird side-effect of the account recovery or what. Whoever had been using my account had managed to clear half the map and all of metrica province, beat something like 6 dungeons and get their ranger up to level fifty, without completing their story, all in six days. ( I checked the mail )

All of this is just fine with me. It was an ugly character and I plan to delete it anyway. My problem is, I now have a map completion account medal I want to have earned, and I can’t get rid of.

My question: since I don’t want the character anyways, how can I wipe my account?
