I’m not sure if this is the same thing or related but there are occurrences where my whatever character I’m playing just spins. It seems happen after I’ve gone a distance (run?) it seem to correct itself after a bit. (+-20 sec). it doesn’t seem to be race specific.
and it doesn’t happen frequently at least not for me.

Sorry to disagree with you but the command key is simply like the windows key on Windows. It is closer to a combo between a window control key and windows alt key.
for example. on Windows you use control x,c and v for cut, copy and past but on OS X its the command x,c, and v. Where the combo part comes in it that in Windows you use the Alt key F4 to quit an app on OS X its command Q. and many of the alt keys on Windows or Windows apps are assigned to the command key on OS X. These are just a few examples but I think you may get the idea.
I agree that it would be nice to be able to re-assign the key since I’m using a MBP and command 1 or alt 1 or something else would be easier then the current settings. I’m loving GW2 on the Mac but a few “Key” improvements / changes would be very welcome, indeed.

I’ve been playing for several hours now with out problem (Norn guardian lvl 17)
I did notice that the gamma settings needed to be changed to about roughly 1.26-ish otherwise somethings were too dark.
I’ve upped the graphics settings on a few settings to medium without any lag or graphic problem. it also works well with my targus bluetooth mouse.
The performance of the mac version is better then the Windows 7 version on the same machine and I’m running the Mac version with better graphics settings. Frame rate is pretty similar.
Thanks to ArenaNet, NCSoft and transgaming for the Mac version its quite wonderful.

The Ranger is one of my favorite character and with the advanced weaponry of some of the other classes/races I’d love to see a crossbow or even an automatic crossbow like in vanHelsing or like the real one that was on the TV show TopShot.
Bows are great and a lot of fun but a ranger with a crossbow would be beyond cool.
