My game allowed me to kill the boss, and it started the cut scene. We didn’t hear any words in the cutscene, but looking at the log, the dialog stopped with:
After defeating the Malevolent Memory.
Marjory Delaqua: You’re okay!
Kasmeer Meade: What just happened? What was that?
Marjory Delaqua: Not sure. If I had to guess, I’d say it was part of the lair rising up to greet us.
Kasmeer Meade: Not much of a greeting if you ask me. Thanks for swooping in when you did, boss. We’d have been toast if not for you.
Marjory Delaqua: Mhmm. We weren’t sure we’d see you again, to be honest.
Mysterious Voice: You must pronise to protect it with your life. Will you?

We found ourselves trapped in the lair and tried jumping off a platform to our deaths. That took us to the beginning of the zone completely, trapping us. We had to map out. Now, we will have to start the quest over, again.

Bump

I really want to know if this is fixed or if someone is working on it? I’ve never seen anything from official channels acknowledging this as a problem. I’m quite happy with the game, but I am so close to world completion with my mesmer. This has been a disincentive to finish.

Hopefully, you folks have seen this post:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/mac/Mac-Beta-Client-Config-Tweaks-Files

I have a Mid 2009 15-inch MacBook Pro that doesn’t technically meet the Mac Beta system requirements. I had been running GW2 in Windows on medium settings okay. After tweaking my config file to include all the VRAM available to me with my GeForce 9600 GT, I was able to up my graphics settings in OSX and get about 10 fps more!

I haven’t tried the new config settings in WvWvW, yet. It was intolerable in OSX, before.
