Returned to game after a year, and now this I see this ‘new player experience’ – where you can not see vistas on the map, and can not see or interact with early skill point challenges – and it is actually.. less experience than when I played earlier.
How is it ‘experience’ if I can not find all (with map indications) and enjoy vistas in the new area with the new character I made? And why do I need to go back some time later (if I got it right?) to do that lvl5 skill point challenge? Flashy icons ‘oh you gained a new lvl’ is not a new experience, it’s just a flashy icon. And stuffing my face with ‘rewards’ for leveling up is kinda.. bottle feeding, right? Cutting off vistas and skill point challenges from the start – is also not a ‘new player experience’. It is ‘we are limiting content that you can enjoy for no reason’. So now starting anew is actually less fun than it was before.

Wonder just how exactly it is good idea to disable access to vistas and early skill points that players can see and do as they start new game.. Why we can not enjoy the pretty view and see all the vistas in, say, 5lvl area? And how is it a ‘new player experience’? It’s dolyak’s brownies. So after lvl 15 players have to go back to do what they can do as they encounter it?
