Anyone made any cool builds taking the new guard shield skills into account? Always wanted to play with shield in PvP

I have the same issue, and i have tried everything you have. I went through support and tried a whole bunch of other things but none of them worked, and eventually they were convinced that my CPU was overheating, even though the programs they told me to use were exaggerating my readings (Like over 100 degrees celsius, lol). I too, was playing GW2 without black screens since launch on the same pc with no changes made to it. I’ve given up on it right now, it appears as though nothing works :/

Black screened after around 30 minutes, thanks for trying though Did you see another black screen after posting?

Hopefully it is fixed in the next patch, It’s quite irritating to play like this and I’ve given up trying to find more solutions.

It’s not a problem with my CPU and GPU temps, it didn’t overheat before i started getting these black screens and it isn’t overheating now…

to add to the list of things I’ve tried:
Port forwarding
turning reflections to 0
disabling firewall
disabling antivirus

Feels like nothing works, and i have no idea what the problem is

So, I’m trying to get back into the game after around 4 months of not playing. The game had worked perfectly on my system since launch (I get 60FPS on high graphics) and now for some reason I seem to be getting constant black screens after a few minutes of play, and I can still hear the music in the background.

I have tried:
Deleting local.dat
Updating my drivers
Deleting gw2cache
Repairing client
Adjusting anti-aliasing settings in catalyst control center
Changing in game resolution

I don’t know exactly what the problem is, but has anyone actually found a fix for it?
