I would also like to add that all three evasion traits make the evade feel clunky. A normal evade occurs as soon as I press “v” and goes in the direction I’m pushing. The delay due to the “casting a skill” element of the evade for the daredevil makes what should be a very fast-evading class feel instead like a slow-evading class.

For “Dash” and “Lotus Training” (especially noticeable with “Lotus Training”), there is a distinct lag at the start of the evade. While “Bound” feels much smoother at the start, the slam at the end feels like it takes just a tad too long, so that e.g. if I needed to do multiple dodges in a row, I would instead be (or at least, feel) significantly slower than my allies who weren’t playing as a daredevil.

Voice Over Packs

I love that we have auditory cues, but since there is only one voice per gender per race, it means that the voices can get a bit repetitive if you have multiple members of the same race in a group, not to mention that it takes away from the uniqueness of our characters that we put so much effort into making (in character creation, via armor sets, dyes, etc.).

I think it would be great to have voice over packs available in the gem store. The packs would be race-gender specific, so as to preserve the integrity of the races and lore. I don’t know how many voices a pack would contain (probably only one, depending on the cost of recording the voices), but in either case it would add an option in the Hero panel to pick what your character’s voice was for both the personal story and for their audio cues. Alternatively, after purchasing a voice-over pack, any previously made characters would have a one-time option to change voices, but otherwise it was a permanent decision made during character creation.

Not only would this make each character feel more unique, but it would allow for groups with multiple members of the same race to better discern which player was which, allowing for better teamwork and for the audio cues to become more functional.
