So, my idea is simple, increasing level cap to 90, but it will be much harder to max it out, because every level means new restriction, for example
80 -> 81 = pretty fast, only ~150k exp and finished story mode.
81 -> 82 = 1 million exp needed and, for example 1000 achievement point
82 -> 83 = 2 million exp needed, 1500 achievement point and world 30% explored, and finished story mode in one instance
83 -> 84 = 3 million exp needed 2000 achievement point, world 50% explored, 2 story modes finished, and some special quest
and so till 90 lvl that restriction is : 10 million exp, 8000 achievement point, 100% world explored, all story modes and explorable modes in any instance, some special quest finished and one or more legendary item in use.
That’s my suggestion about lvl cap, IMO it would give much more fun from lvling, because reaching 80 lvl is very easy..
So, my second suggestion is some new sets of items with stats much increased than these from 80, cuz every weapon/armor set is just skin, and a little % of people playing GW2 wants to have legendary weapon. So i suggest 2 new ranks of items
81 -> 85 Legendary weapons/armors that with these you can easily do some instance with 3-4 ppl in the party
86 -> 90 Godly’s weapons/armors that with these you can easily duo/solo some instances
Many ppl told me that end-game PvE sucks, that there is no fun getting new armor from f.e. CoF or AC, these are just skins, they won’t change any stats.
In my opinion i think that increased lvl cap with new items would give some more fun, and these lvl restrictions will give more fun with exploring these amazing GW2 world.
Leveling to 80 is pretty fast, but then what ? You got full CoF set with Legendary weapon and ascended trinkets ? Nevermind, you are equal to guy with stone sword and leather jacket, and that’s not fun..
