1) Why not pick bleed duration runes?
2) why not Keen Edge? (10 in marksmanship)
I didn’t choose bleed duration runes, because I think 15 % isn’t that worth….Instead I wanted to have more vitality. Because of that I also used 10 points in nature magic.
But nevertheless I will try out your suggestion
I need to improve my German! Is there a setting for that in the build link?
use this one http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fMAQNBHhVakoKzOySwC1OQ0ekJJde2DDxoF5K4/SmSUA-T0AAzCuIiSFlLKTUyosiNAZVxZh5CvFA
To all the rangers out there,
I created a hunter build for good condition dmg and survivability.
You fight with shortbow and axe/horn.
Gameplay
At the beginning of the fight I use call of wild (axe/horn) to buff me and my teammates. With splitblade you can also stack up to 3 stacks bleeding at once and, if needed, freeze the foe.
Then I change to my shortbow, the main weapon. I use it to stack bleeding (with every crossfire use = 1 stack), poison (poison volley) and to have two good CC-skills (crippling shot and concussion shot). In combination with sharpening stone and quickning zephyr you can immediately stack up to 15 stacks of bleeding.
The signet of hunt provides you a passive movement speed buff to keep always distance from your enemy. In combination with call of wild you can quickly toggle between different points and occupy .
Animals
I use the jungle spider to stun the enemy and the lynx to make additional bleeding.
Optional you can work with the bear because it can remove one condition of you and your teammates all 30 seconds. That’s also not bad.
All in all your vitality and power/attack isn’t that high, but you have enough toughness and condition dmg/critchance (look at skirmishing (II)/sigil of superior earth), to defeat the foe continuously over time.
Good luck and enjoy it! x)
