I would check your GPU fan to make sure it’s turning properly or at all. I have an Nvidia GeForce GT430, and i was having loads of black screen crashes over the past months until i actually opened up my computer and noticed my cards fan was not turning. I got a program called GPUTemp to monitor my cards temperature and sure enough, it was overheating. Now, whenever i see my card going over 100 degrees i know for a fact that a black screen is imminent. whenever my fan stops turning i have to reach in there and turn in manually with my fingers… yes i know, it’s not safe, but it works.
I have also set my computer to never go to sleep when i’m away for an extended period of time. I did this through the advanced power options in the control panel. so far, with my computer never going to sleep I have had zero issues with my cards fan…. if i have to restart my computer for anything, I will always check my gpu temp first and make sure it is normal, if it’s over 65 degrees at start up, I know my fan is not running and i fix it.
I hope this helps. good luck.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug or intended, but I have noticed, over this weekend that the experience for city discoveries( vistas, poi’s etc.) has been reduced to around half of what it used to be before the weekend. Whenever i made a new character, I would always run around and discover all of the cities first, and gaining 8 levels in the process. I really enjoyed this because I felt it gave me a little bit of a head start when actually going out and exploring the world. Ever since the Lost Shores event started, I have noticed that i am getting roughly half the experience that i used to get before the weekend… leaving me with around 5 levels instead of the 8 levels i was getting before. Has anyone else noticed this? I didn’t see anything in the patch notes regarding this so i wasn’t sure. Thank you.
