It works the same way as it does with mobs – you have to deal enough damage to get that 50 wxp, and only if you do get it, it counts for the achievement.

If there are 15 people auto attacking the gate without siege, it’s easy. If there are 2 rams and you’re on 1 of them, it’s easy.

If there are 80 people and 5 rams with masters up, it’s hard regardless of whether you’re on the ram or not.

While I agree to some of the points of the OP (in particular, about better tying dailies; besides, dolly and sentry ones are a bit over the top and merc camps is just kittenedly high)… but what I’ve done in 2.5 days IS absolutely doable for any casual non-wvw player in 7 weeks.

Was also bugged for me, got fixed by a daily reset.

Some people on Deso are funny. Lose 1v1, come back with 5v1, fight near dredge turret and guards, kill me and then teabag for a whole minute. Right, shows yer mad skillz and superiority.

I had quite a bit of respect for VotF… I won’t judge too strong from one evening worth of fights, but between teabagging and this emote spam (see screenshot), it has decreased by a lot.

What are you laughing at? Laughing is good when you beat outnumbering enemy, when you fight against impossible odds, when you do something generally noticeable, something you (and your enemies) will remember. In extreme cases I may find it acceptable to even teabag, like if you win 5vs15 coz enemies are that bad.

Today however, as a result of a dozen of fights, VotF+WAR vs a bunch of proud Gandara pugs, the only emote you should be using is /cry.

Huh, pot kettle eh? These two weeks all I’ve seen is Deso blobs avoiding the fight at all costs unless they have at least 1.5×. Even fights = owned. Talking about pugs vs pugs of course.
