If you have the patience to learn and master a profession really well and like the more tactical type of playstyle, then i’d say go for the mesmer. But if you like the head on and “in the action” type of playstyle, go for the warrior.
The warrior has a lower skill cap and is faster to learn, while the mesmer often takes a lot more tactical play and you will probably die a lot before you get in to it. But when you’ve learnt it, it’s a really fun and challenging profession to play.
