You seem to be dismissing any fun you had with it during those years that you had it. That has value too.
And if you didn’t have any fun with it, then why would you even want a glider version of it?
For that to be true, when HoT came out and old version of the game became free (still needed to buy to unlock everything), Anet shouldn’t have given away free slots when players complained, but they did. why. Because it was a way for them to show thanks and respect for those old players who supported the game.
I’m not arguing about the item’s cost, how much fun one may had or anything like that, its about fairness and equity. IF they thought it was okay to bring back old items, they should have thought about those who bought the items and not neglect them.
What part of this argument is so difficult to understand?
Furthermore, because glider doesn’t require opening up inventory finding the item and click, OR transfer it to different toons, whereas glider you can just set it once and use it anytime you jump down. its just easier

Selling both glider and carpet for 500 gem right now (price will change back to normal later I know) and 400 for the glider alone when I clearly bought the toy for 250 gems years back, just seems like neglecting and deceiving old players.
Dude it’s 250 gems. The toy I hardly ever touch. Glider way better. 250 gems takes less an hour to farm
It’s not about how much it costs and how long it takes for us to farm, its about if they care about us at all. If they respect for those who supported them and can be fair for them. Paying 500 gems to get ANOTHER carpet toy is just unnecessary or paying 400 just for glider + 250 gems you spent before = 650 gems which is sold for 500 isn’t exactly FAIR you know? It’s about perspective. I’m saying, old users with toys previously should be able to buy the glider for 250 on sale.

TD map is stupid. Events for meta events finishes within 20 mins of the starting, and T1,2,3 boxes hold for another 1hr and 30 mins which you have to do none rewarding events to keep your participation up for. its just plain stupid the more you think about it.
Its getting more ridiculous as I play. You ask us to get rewards for doing events in maps and ok that seems fair. But TD is just plain stupid. 1. You can only get 3 reward boxes until meta event starts, and when those are completed the map holds on for another 1hr and 30 mins of countless mindless events which we don’t get tokens for, but only to keep our participation up until meta event starts. 2. No one does meta event or even trying to organise due to its difficulty, I know guilds like TTS and TTT are organising sometimes, but in their own maps so pugs VERY RARELY or even NEVER get to participate or kill.
I’m not complaining that we don’t get to succeed Meta events, but asking for more Ley line Crystals. At least have t1,2,3 boxes to have more crystals and failed meta rewards also need to be boosted. People who join the map late without participation misses the first 3 boxes and HAVE TO WAIT until meta event starts which is mostly 1 hr later..
To be honest, I would’ve liked it more if we could use different materials for different upgrades. What I mean by that is I don’t think every guild should follow the same paths to upgrade, there should be various ways to upgrade. For example, path A is for big guilds (with 300 or more) path B is for 200 or 299 and C is 100 to 199 and so on. That way small guilds can take their time to upgrade, same materials won’t be used thus making TP more stable.
I am currently up to Tier 3 of The Legend crafting for the Bifrost, where you need to gather paints/beams and crystals and I am stuck on Experiencing the crystals. It reads that I need to become encased in the Shatterer’s Crystal. So throughout today since the morning (Australian time. Around 13hrs into this thing now) I participated in 4 Shatterer kills and even standed on where Crystal forms. But still did not get the achievement. Am I doing this wrong? or do I have to pray to RNG god to get this happen? Because if I were to ask RNG god to make it happen, I “might as well” pray for the precursor instead… There should be no luck in getting such achievement don’t yous think..? T_T… I really want this .. I’ve waited 10 months for this and RNG is just not fair…
P.S: I’ve just read other people’s post and I will give that a go…in…another 2 hrs………..(cries)
