In the other thread someone discovered that disabling auto proxy detect solved the CoherentUI crash issue.

Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is UNchecked

This has solved the issue for several of us on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

Thankfully, after a many attempts at resolution, this seems to have worked for me. I made the mistake of uninstalling, so many of the suggestions did not apply to me. I still haven’t attempted to access the TP, as I don’t want to mess with things that are working until a permanent solution is found.

I get held up on the load screen. Neither restarting nor rebooting solved the issue. I eventually uninstalled the game and attempted to reinstall. Now I get a locked window at the initialization screen. If I close that, it moves on to the load screen, but hangs there. I haven’t placed a support ticket, but will be doing so soon.
