Yep, just equipped the set on another character which is an Engineer XD.

I just realized that the set is “Account-Bound” so I managed to transfer it to another one. I thought it is “Soul-Bound” so I got quite in a panic. Anyways thank you to all who replied and for setting me up in the right direction. Much appreciated. ;P

You could always contact support and ask for the right chest. Or you could roll a ranger or a thief.

Will try the former. What is this “rolling” for a class? You can change your class in-game? :O

So yeah, started playing GW2 yesterday after my friend referred it to me so I got really interested. Bought the Heroic Edition and it is supposedly bundled with the Heroic Chest thing and stuff. Well, the problem is here. After opening the Heroic Chest you get an option to choose from three kinds of chests. Apparently I chose the Kytran one by mistake, as I was a Warrior and that chest is only for medium-armor types (ranger, thief).

After proceeding to wail for about 5 minutes (on how I wasted buying this edition by picking the wrong chest), I want to know if there is any way to transfer or use this Kytran set somehow? It feels like such a waste to just let it stay there in my inventory while also reminding me that I’m an idiot myself. sigh
