PvE Condi Build Setup?

Don’t bother with condi rev. Unless they fix Mallyx and do something with torment damage. You’ll be mashing buttons and going through all your energy to get 20 stacks of torment to do the same amount of damage as 3 stacks of burning.

I am not entirely sure if you played the revenant on conditions in a beta weekend. With a build like this: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vlAQRApX5nn3guNSuQ7JRboVlsP0rS4IaWJ4EdskFUlhNpmiKNgDSwO92jH-ThhAABVr+DM7PctyPAOJAR/EA9DspEkUAQssC-e you can get really high uptime of several stacks of burning on your target while also maintaining good coverage with poison and torment.

Just from raw numbers this build actually hits higher than the generic Shiro/Glint-Zerker-Build if your enemy is standing in your fire-field constantly.
Rotation is quite simple: Spam out Mace 2, use quickness from Shiro as often as possible without delaying Mace 2 uses and you should be fine. Also use Elemental Blast (the second utility from Glint) as it applied 3 stacks of burning essentially for free.

You are running +125% Burning Duration which essentially means Searing Fissure applied 4 stacks of burning with a duration of 9 seconds each, Elemental Blast gives 3 Stacks with 6.75s duration each.
This is quite some burning.

150 ferocity translate to 10% critical hit damage. When you are running 100% critical hit chance and your enemy is on level 80 or below you are guaranteed to get the additional 10% damage.
Critical hit damage is just another multiplicator in the end so if we have e.g. Scholar + 150% Crit dmg we would have a 1.1 (Scholar) * 1.5 (Crit) = 1.65 multiplier to each attack.
If we now have 10% more flat damage we would get: 1.1 * 1.5 * 1.1 = 1.85.
If we now have 10% more crit damage we would get: 1.1 * 1.6 = 1.815.

So 10% more flat damage is actually better since it gives us another multiplicator.
The downside is that you need 5 strikes to get to the maximum value of the buff.

Still I am pretty sure that if the trait is really giving flat damage instead of ability speed (as I thought it would, was not able to test in BWE3) it is superior to the 150 Ferocity.

This is my version of the pure DPS-Revenant:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vlAQNAsemn3guNSuQ7JRboVlsP0rS4IaWJ4EdskFNFitMppNtLIARwugJshA-TBSBABUcCAoZ/BKV/xMlgXp8DP9BacEAA4RAEAABYilYJOxATciTciTciNxJOxJOxJWIAzjBA-e

Although Swift Termination simulates for about 600 DPS more than Assassin’s Anihilation I feel like the added self-heal outshines this minor loss (13.9k vs 13.3k dps).
