Yeah I had friends that did this in CoH, Age of Conan, Diablo, WoW etc.

People will always do it when they can hide their real sex behind a virtual avatar.

Personally I match the sex that I am to my Avatar, unless the class I want to play as is gender locked. Which I’m glad they don’t do in GW2 unlike some other MMO’s.

I’ve recently decided I want to get back into GW2, mainly because it has a healthy player base and is still one of the top MMO’s available on the market. TBH i’ve never really given GW2 a decent chance and would love to dedicate some actual time to playing it. I’m a semi-experienced player in GW2 but I don’t have the Heart Of Thorns expansion.

I’m wondering if you need another member for your Guild and wouldn’t mind someone joining up who currently doesn’t have the expansion? I will definitely be purchasing HoT in the future since I’m going to be actively playing GW2 as my go to MMO.
