Kurse.1540 What would you consider to be better at the moment? D/Focus or Staff?
Kurse.1540 Fire 4 seems good!
Malediktus.9250 Well maybe I will give druid a go. Sounds nice
Apolo.5942 Wow, now everything is so obvious. Thanks a lot.
Krysard.1364 thanks for that tip!
Dagins.5163 Well not that stupid, the last 4 games I played there were 3 DHtrappers in the each of the enemy teams. Mabye at my level they are all playing that spec because the players are not good enough to counter it.
Oh ok. Am i able to doge through the Traps like the marks of necro? I thought that was impossible. Also doging out is kind of hard if you want to hold a point like Temple of Storm mid or Kylo mid. Or even close/far if there is a 2vs2.
Another advice?
Or is this really the only mistake I am making? I will focus it more in the next game.
Hi
Could someone give me some advice how to counter the DH-Traps or DH in general? Espacially if there are two or more DHs I simply die while being CC’d by their Elitetraps. I know about stability but their Trap-Cooldowns are shorter than my Stability, so thats not really an option.
Also is it possible that I get damage altough I blink through “Test of Faith” ring?
I mostly play Elementalist Auramancer, so I would think I should have some good survivability. I use Magneticaura against their bows but most times thats not enough.
Same problem with condi rev, but in this case I can understand my poor survivability.
I mostly ask this because in this Thread they say that DH is at a poor state:

So I belive I am missing something crucial? I am not that good but I think thanks to Matchmaking the enemys should be around my level, so why are they destroying me so hard?
PS.: I hope it is the right forum and I am very sorry about my terrible english
Hey guys,
i stumbled across a topic, i just can not find a good answer for. How strong are elementalists/ is magic in lore? I mean most of the nations (Human, Charr, Norn, Sylvari) use conventional soldiers. With sword/shield, bow and guns. But if you have someone who can block bullets (magnetic aura), let it rain meteors, spit fire, teleport himself etc. what is the purpose of a soldier? Ok, there may be the sneaky guys who stab you in the back and the warriors who have glowing/burning swords and look like they came from hell, they can still be effective.. But normal soldiers, like seraphs, do they have any purpose? I mean look at a D/D elementalist and how he fights.. I can not imagine a soldier or even 20 soldiers standing any chance.. and how common are persons who can use magic like that? can you build an army just of them?
Hope you guys can enlighten me ^^
Ps: sorry for my bad English..
I can only agree!
