i got this response from GM Untharin , so i purchase a new Serial Code from an official authorized seller here in our country. I’ll attach a picture of physical copy. But after i register my new code i got this response from Steve S.

The Guild Wars 2 Serial Code used to create your Guild Wars 2 game account was initially purchased from our site fraudulently. The alleged “buyer” had used stolen credentials then sold or transferred that account to you.

This resulted in the serial code and game account to be permanently closed.

If you purchased this serial code from a website other than www.guildwars2.com we recommend contacting the unauthorized reseller from whom you purchased the serial code for a full refund.

While this fraudulently purchased account is closed, we encourage you to buy an official physical retail copy from an authorized seller or digital serial code at http://buy.guildwars2.com.

Unfortunately, there is no further assistance we can provide for this issue.

i got the same reply when i actually put a new serial code to access my account(which they said that i should do to access my account). i bought my new serial key with cd in a official retailer in our country.

So what’s the answer then? Waiting for another couple weeks to receive an answer saying “You should not have done that” doesn’t seem to be the best option..
I didn’t try to put a new serial code yet to this existing account. Seems risky to me. Waiting for more specific info

I have got the same reply. And i also dont understand it.

Hello,

I just purchased serial key from one of the retailer here in our country because on your 1st reply you mentioned that i can still access my account so i already use the serial key that i purchased on that account but after doing that i still get the same message. I do understand that you mentioned that the 1st key is fraud but i hope you can give consideration on my part i don’t have any idea that it was fraud i don’t get any refund buying that key and i don’t care on that key anymore what i need is my account if you can see on the picture i already have 2 cd. So i hope you will give consideration i am a victim here please help. you can ban the key but please not the account it took me a month creating 5 char on that account. I hope you will understand.

Can you directly post the email or the post that told you to buy a new serial key to get into your old acount? I want to see this as, there is no reason for Arena net to request of you to repurchase the game just to get to already existing account. If they did then they have just proven that they are suspending/banning accounts to force more purchases. This is fraud by a corporation against it’s consumers and is a cut and dry lawsuit.

Did you try to give them full details of the new serial key? try to give them full information and then let us know if it worked for you, cuz I’m eager to find a way out even if I have to buy the game once again.

Just purchased new serial key still not working , im having the same error, this will be my third serial key for this game. and 1 more thing can you investigate first before you block account to save hassle.
