Two serious potential problems with the proposed Ele changes. 1. I love to use arcane, I love all the things in it. I like it more than I like the elements. So please do not screw it up. 2. If you are going to mess with all my traits then you also need to provide a way for me to re-trait my ele for free. Do not force me to spend hard earned gold to fix the mess you create by changing the rules to the game.
One last thought: If you are making these changes because of some PvP or WvW problem then don’t. Both PvP and WvW are a useless part of the game that should just be removed or sequestered off somewhere else. These two things distract from the real game almost as much as the constant flow of new content that is also ruining the game. If you absolutely must keep PvP/WvW then at least make the changes specific to those arenas and not effect PvE where the real game resides.

Some people actually have lives, families, jobs, and responsibilities and we cannot just sit and play a video game all day and night. There is so much to do and explore in the game itself, with five races, eight professions, and numerous branches of each of the storylines there is enough content there alone to keep someone busy for several years. Add in an occasional holiday themed festival and there would be no reason to add content for at least a good five years or so. If you find that you have completed everything with one character create another with a different race and profession. This constant influx of new story line makes it impossible to know and understand what is going on in the world, especially when you never get to see the whole story because it ends before you can get all the pieces finished.
I know the reasons they give, but the real reason is simply to annoy the players. This is a game it is not a country or a government. There is nothing wrong with selling used equipment when you are done with it. The purpose of the game is not to become a virtual millionaire it is to have fun. Further, I should be able to transfer and use any item between any character on my account and with any other player. Transmute stones are a perfect example. There are people in our guild who never use them and have stacks of them. There are other people who like to transmute everything. Why shouldn’t those with a surplus of an item they find useless be prevented from selling them for a profit, giving them away, or sharing them with their guild? The answer, so Arenanet can make a few more dollars off the people who want them by forcing them to purchase them with gems. Everything in the game should be allowed to be traded or sold. Now if you are worried about selling those items bought with karma (another stupid idea) then set them up so they can only be sold and paid for with karma, but do not soulbind them. The only real purpose for soul/account binding is to annoy the players.
Yes, offer them for sale again but this time at a reasonable price. The last price was ridiculous and was the reason why I did not purchase them. This is a game not a process for nickel and diming your fans to death
Please get rid of these annoying designations. There is absolutely no purpose behind them except to frustrate players. This is one of those annoyances that really detract from the game and make it less fun to play. Please stop this.

You are still putting out content way too fast. I have not even come close to finishing the cutthroat politics thing yet and now I hear more new stuff is coming? Please stop! There is no way I can possibly keep up with everything you have going on and things keep ending before I have time to finish them. I am really getting frustrated and losing interest in the game. It is no fun to play when you can never finish anything and you only get part of the story. Please make everything you have run so far available again and STOP WITH THE NEW CONTENT ALREADY!
I guess I do not mind the new content being permanent if it is introduced slowly and ample time is given to complete the game. I have one character of each profession. Only two of them have made it to level 80 so far and I have no characters that have finished the game through to the end yet.
I do not mind a few special events like festivals for holidays or things like that so long as there is ample time allotted to complete the special quests. However, the constant streaming of new storylines and new bad guys doing new things all complete with new things I have to achieve in order get some kind of limited edition in game item has got to stop. I do not have time to get all my daily things done and still make progress on my character’s stories, and now I have to also do all these special new things. Enough is enough already.
I would really appreciate it if you would slow down with the introduction of new content. I have not yet finished the game in its original form and you have already flooded the world with new content.
I cannot keep the story lines straight, I cannot keep up with what I am supposed to do, I cannot get everything done that needs to be done in the timeframes you give for the events. It is too much!
Please slow down the introduction of new content a bit. I realize that there are those nuts out there that do nothing but game and that they rip through new content quickly but for the average person there is so much I have to keep up on that I am really starting to loose interest in the game it is all just too confusing.
