Guild Wars 2

Hello, after around a 1 year break with the occasional log in for the LW I’m trying to get back into GW2 and trying to find a guild to join. I don’t really have anything specific I’m looking for other than something active for guild missions, maybe some fracticals, etc. to wipe the rust off my Guardian.

EDIT: Oh and if it matters for WvW, I’m on Jade Quarry.

Hello all. With the recent news of Guild Missions coming out I thought it was time I seek an active guild and curious what guilds on Jade Quarry are currently recruiting.

For content I mostly do PvE. I usually only go into WvW for the JPs, and have no interest at all in PvP.

For classes I have a level 80 Guardian and level 80 Engineer. The Engineer still needs a bit of work.

For play times it varies. I usually can get on from 6 PM to 10 PM CST on the weekdays and longer on the weekends and Friday. However I would also like to point out that my schedule can be a bit chaotic due to being a student and all so I can’t guarantee I’ll be on every night.

I invited a friend for the Lost Shore event a few moments ago and he’s having trouble getting into his account. He said it wouldn’t register his password so I said I’d try to create the account for him using a password I’d send to him he can change at any time. However, I found out the serial code was in use so his account should have been made.

We then tried to reset the password, however he found out he can’t since he doesn’t have a character made.

So the question is what can he (or me) do to resolve this issue? The serial has been used and he can’t reset the password since the account requires a character to reset.

Honor of the Waves – Story Mode

Tried entering with a group of 5 by walking to the point. We got in the first time, but each of us was in a different instance. We left the dungeon to regroup, but couldn’t get back in.

EDIT: After awhile some members of the party could enter, but still had the individual instance bug happen.

Has anyone had any problems with this quest lately? My map says to use an asuran gate, but all the gates are closed off and the guards won’t let me in.
