Thank you both for your input! I know everyone has different opinions and I just wanted to hear what people thought of it!
I have been thinking recently, Fractal players (Well, most I’ve seen) expect you to be Expert at Fractals, or at least know what your doing. I’m personally tired of this. I have a new Idea just to even it out.
I think Anet should add 3 columns of light in the Fractal hub. I’ll tell you about it right here:
Column 1: Inexperienced Player.
This is pretty simple, if you are new to Fractals you can go to this column. If you press F on this column it might say:
You are new to Fractals, would you like to be paired with random people of your level?
Or something along those lines. It would mean you all don’t know what’s happening and you could figure it out together. It would mean more players might enjoy Fractals more.
Column 2: Experienced Player.
This will allow people who have upgraded from Inexperienced to Experienced. Simply you are halfway between Inexperienced and Expert. Once you press F it might say:
You are a Experienced player, you know whats happening and you can make your way through Fractals easily. Would you like to be paired with Random players of your level?
Same thing as Column 1, more people would enjoy this setting and witness other players as well. This also means you can see other tactics.
Column 3: Expert Players.
This column is for people who are Expert at fractals, (Hence the name) you know most tactics and can finish these in a short amount of time. Pressing F might read this:
You have gotten to Expert, Fractals are a easy thing to you. Would you like to be paired with random people of you level?
If a Expert or Experienced try to access Inexperienced it would read:
You have passed this level, you can no longer access it.
This idea might be considered ‘too much time to implement’ but in the end it would mean more players might play Fractals more.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
