Well waiting for some meta events got me thinking of making a story. I have never attempted it and did my best to avoid common writing pitfalls and this was some of what I got. It is a start, but I’d appreciate some constructive criticism about the matter:

Corvo rubbed the side of his face as he sat in Turai Tavern. Voices around him clashed in a constant battle for dominance as they bounced to and fro the establishment’s mustard walls.
His blue eyes wandered across his cup and to the server. He pushed himself off the counter and opened his mouth to order another. But just as he was about to, a plated hand slapped him on the shoulder.
“Corvo! I figured you’d be here.” said the familiar voice of Logan Thackery.
Corvo looked over his shoulder and smiled shortly. He turned his chair and shook his hand.
A smile came over the human Guardian’s face, “Logan, what’s gotten you in such a good mood? Moreover, you’re in Ossan quarters. I would think that you’re off saving Tyria with the rest.”
“Well yes, point made. But I am here for business at least. But I cannot discuss the matter in public.” Logan said gravely. He beckoned Corvo to follow him; the man complied and followed Logan outside of the tavern.
“I’m sorry to cut your vacation so short Corvo, but meet me at the Dead End in the Eastern Quarters today in three hours. It’s an urgent matter that I think someone like you could solve.” he said as he scratched the back of his head.
Corvo raised a brow at him, it was odd for Logan to come to him so informally with no guards. Moreover, it was even more odd to ask him to come to the inn at Shaemoor when they could discuss it at in the castle. “No need to be sorry. I’m not the type to sit about anyway, I will meet you there then.”
Logan gave Corvo a silent nod of approval and began walking away. ‘The Dead End, I have heard of it before. All I remember is that it was a shady place.’ He shook his head and turned to make his way towards the Eastern Commons, it was a long walk anyway.
“Well well, if it isn’t Soleks himself. ” It was the voice Alice, also formally Riot Alice. She had been a former gang member of Two-Blade Pete, now a friend of his and his ears on the streets of Divinity’s Reach.
Corvo smiled and gave a small wave. “Alice, good to see you well… and alive. Not getting yourself into trouble, I hope.” The red headed woman shook her head and scoffed, “I should be telling you that. I saw you chatting with Logan Thackery. He seemed out of place in Ossan. ”
Corvo frowned, of course she would be curious. He beckoned her to walk and talk with him, she followed right next to him. “With all due respect, what me and Logan discussed is none of your business. Besides, did you look into that matter with those recent murders in Rurikton and the Western Commons?”
Alice put her hands behind her back and sighed as she walked. “Changing the subject I see. Well, I did for your information Soleks.”
Corvo glanced at her and raised a brow as they walked. “Well?”
“The poisons used weren’t exactly identifiable. The lacerations though were even odder. I sent the notes to a friend who is an expert weaponsmith as well wiz at blades and he says they were anything unlike he has ever seen.” she informed him.
‘This person must be a professional.’ Corvo rubbed the side of his face and made a small groaning noise. “Thank you again, I have somewhere to start. The victims, did they have a connection with each other?” Alice hummed for a few seconds, thinking about what he had asked.
Here’s my human guardian, with a mix of dungeon/cultural armor, as well as a skin from WvW.
