Hi,
When you press the steal button as a thief without a target it usually goed on recharge without stealing anything BUT still giving you the buffs (via traits, like Thrill of the crime)
But somehow….. i don;t know why is doesnt give you your vigor….
Can you plz fix this?
Hi,
I would look forward to a simple hotkey which lets me open the ‘trait menu’ while only pressing 1 button.
Now i have to press H and click 3 times. Is it possible to do this?
This option would make it easier to swap individual (/grandmastermajor/minor) traits between fights.
Well, I agree that it’s pretty slow to level up. And I hate crafting. Specially cooking.
What level are you now?
If I’m trying to level in a hurry, I do:
- join the zerg for world events (before the bosses come), doesn’t matter if I’m too low level, there’s too many players and too much damage anyway.
- ask in southsun cove if there’s a zerg group going on (you get boosted to 80, and there’s so many players in the zerg that you won’t die)then:
- pop 50% experience boost
- buy cheapest food for +10 experience
- make easy Apprentice Maintenance Oil for +10 experience
use all 3 boosts at the same time, at all times.or
- complete maps as you play (hate it, hate it, hate it, mostly because of vistas which like jumping puzzles make me want to barf)
Thnx man! I don’t even know what the zerg are…. that’s how new i am to this game.
I got 3 classes around lvl 30/40 (ranger warrior and thief). I played this game 3 times (each time as a different class) then i stopped caring after lvl 30/40 because i got lazy.
But this is a game changer
The learning curve before lvl 30/40 is just too easy for me. Afterwards it gets harder and more time consuming. Thats why i usually just ‘give up playing gw2’
I’m also pretty naïve. I don;t care about the ‘story line’ or the ‘hearts’ or ‘events’ i’m just in it for the action. But the action gets much tougher after lvl 30/40 (especially if you solo ofcourse)
I found out the Thief is really my kind of class…. a wise man (probably) once said: “Choose your battles”. Well…. thats what the thief does. So i’m happy
.
Stealth, fight, Stealth fight etc etc

Well, there is the option to level thru crafting. Get all to level 400 and that’s 80 character levels right there. You can do it in town and only a few hours. Guides will help you to do it in the most cost effective manner.
Thats still takes a lot of effort. If you play this game for the first time (like me) you don;t have the necessary equipment, skills and intellect to even think of crafting. In other words…. i’m lazy again. But! I’m Happy to be lazy. I think should be able to play like a lazy player because thats who i am (after work). Lazy …. but smart.
In essence im asking for a ‘hardcore’ mode for lazy players. Greater risks, greater rewards just in a closed world
EDIT: and besides…. i want to level up. I like levelling throught combat because it makes me ‘feel’ stronger. It makes me ‘feel’ like i just kicked a monster kitten . But it is just too slow for me. Crafting is boring imo
EDIT2: I like the game mechanics, i just outsmart it. I’m asking for a steeper learning curve

In my opinion this game is focused too much on multiplayer online. Of course it’s an MMO. But some of us (like me) just wanna do a ‘few hours of GW2’ after work.
In my opinion there should be a way in which GW2 is more accessible for players without loads of time on their hands.
In other words…… a ‘superman’ mode. In which you gain levels faster. Just for players like me. I know there is a WvW and A PVP… But still isn’t a ‘me vs the world’. This Idea goes against the very principles of a MMO. But i know you are creative at GW2, and i am asking you for a way to lvl faster without doing endless events, combats etc etc. I want to play ‘me vs the world’ with ‘other players’….. somehow….
I simply hate grinding…. I know this game doesn’t revolve around grinding. But if you don;t have a lot of time it takes forever to reach lvl 80. I want to use those nice traits i see, but not against other players. I’m just lazy i guess….. I think i should be able to be lazy in GW2, it’s my relaxation after all.

And a 3rd thing. I know im being a bit of a pain in the kitten but,
Im a solo player. I like to play GW2 just by myself. Of course the game forces me to play with others (which is good) but i think it should be easier to customize the skill overview tab.
Since almost everything is customizable in the game. (Which i like very very much)
And another thing…. maybe its a good idea to use a specific order in the skill overview. Like deceptions, then trickster skills en venom skills….
i dont know…. i like order :P but i see chaos :P
Hi all,
With Skill classes i mean "trickster’, ‘deception’ ‘venoms’ etc skills (as for a thief).
Some traits have effect on these specific skill classes. In my opinion these classes should be shown on the skill diagram on the toolbar interface. I find it annoying that i have to look up on the internet which skills are defined as ‘trickster’.
Or is there a simpler way of doing this in the game?
enlighten me, please
PS: Nevermind. I see it now…. but still…. you can only see it in the overview and not on the actual toolbar. But maybe thats for the best… Man…. this game goes deep :P
