From a PvP perspective;
1. Elementalist. Way too much burst/damage, not enough sustain/survivability.
2. Ranger. Needs more build diversity, more condi removal (Empathetic Bond is a must for pretty much every Ranger build.)
3. Mesmer. Same with Ranger, more build diversity.

From a PvE perspective;
1. Necromancer, not enough damage, condi cap, etc.
2. Ranger, I’m not 100% sure, but a lot of people say they aren’t too good.
3. Engineer, too little damage, everything they can do can be done by another class, works well in PuG’s, but doesn’t have a strong place in organized groups.

From a WvW perspective;
1. Ranger, average in small scale stuff and roaming, subpar in zergs.
2. Elementalist, shoe-horned into running staff buff builds.
3. idunno

Incentive to not leave a solo q?

I’m not sure if anything like this has been posted before, so whatever. It’s very apparent looking on the forums and just playing it yourself that 4v5’s can be a major problem in solo q’s. They’re frequent, frustrating, and the Dishonorable debuff doesn’t seem to be stopping them. So I had a thought that may be able to solve this and solve the issue of taking forever to rank up. Why not introduce a Good Will system like the MOBA Smite? Albeit with a few changes. For those who have not played it, in Smite, to play in certain game types you need to have a certain amount of “good will” and good will is gained by playing matches to completion. If you leave a match prematurely, you lose all your good will, and you will have less variety in the game types you can play until you get it back up.

Now how will this work in GW2? You’ll gain stacks of “Honorable” (or something like that) by playing hotjoins to completion, up to a max of 5 stacks, gaining one every game finished. Once you have 5 stacks, you’ll be able to participate in Solo Arena and Team Arena, as well as gaining a general PvP Reward Boost for having those stacks. From here your stacks will be maxed from Hotjoins, but you’ll still be able to gain an extra 5 from playing Team Arena and Solo Arena. (Ex; 1 stack of Honorable increases PvP Glory, Rank Point, and Gold gain by 10%)

A couple of things. Honorable would be account bound, because a lot of PvP’ers make a lot of new characters and it’d be a pain to have to play 5 hotjoins every time you make a new guy. Upon leaving a solo q, you wouldn’t lose all stacks of Honorable, maybe 3-5, to still penalize leavers, but not be so harsh on people who honestly DC’ed.
It’s not a perfect system, but I think with some tweaking it could be better than what we have now.

Yeah, 50-60% of all my matches since Foefire was put back in the rotation have been Temple. I love Temple, but it’s getting kind of tiring playing it so much.

That sounds like a great idea, and would make the Champ Titles a lot more worthwhile.
