The most striking thing about EBay that I have noticed is a much higher percentage of rangers(all using the aoe root elite). I have never seen any server run so heavy on one class, except maybe FA with elementalists(which has faded in recent days).

Why do so many players on EBay love rangers? Is there some sort of meta-strategy involved, some sort of server decision to play more rangers? Or is it just random chance?

What do you mean, we’ve been against Mesmerguuma several times in the past…

Joking aside, I think it’s interesting when there are profession trends on the servers. We can learn a lot about countering groups that are heavy on one skill or another.

Oh and regarding the squishiness mentioned on the other comment, I’m for sure one of those. PvPeers have an important role in WvW, but I’m one of those people who can contribute best with a group support build. So yeah, I can’t kill anything by myself except for arrow carts because they don’t run away… I still think that’s pretty useful.

Dear diary, today I went to WvW. It was a merry time with Dragonbrand, but I got a few broken ribs and some stitches. I took a picture of TC guys visiting our Bay Keep. I was so jealous of how many friends you have! We tried to run in for some hugs but it hurt! Oh there are some lonely times roaming in DB…
But I must thank you all Dragonbranders who bravely stood by and tried to hold the lord’s room with all your might, even knowing we were faced certain death!

Must be a boring matchup already when zergs will move off the road to chase down a solo player for 5 minutes just so they can vaporize him in less than a second once they get close enough to chain-spam immobilize. XD

To the random OTG that ran over to try and help, Wuv you! Though I can imagine you must have been a victim of culling and thought there was only a small group chasing me with the way you charged into the middle of them, lol

Oh no! I was one of them I’m sorry but I was bored too! Got tired to getting wiped by FA so I was zerging with you know… which in our case was more like a handful of randoms… I’m sorry I’m new to this and didn’t know the proper code of conduct. Next time I see little Yaks I’ll to try to take Stone Mist instead. Oh… I think we already tried that all day

But anyhow, this weekend was the first time I really got into WvW, I was frustrating a lot of times, but I must say I had great fun holding the camp against FA! And then I followed [AoN] for a bit, it was the most glorious thing I’ve ever seen in WvW.
