Hi People,

I’m a returning player (9 month hiatus, woohoo!) and I’ve been reading up on all the new stuff, and builds for my Ele which I could use in WvW for solo roam or small (2-3) groups.
D/D was always my favourite, but I’m seeing a lot of people going on about S/D, D/F, etc, and I’m no longer sure what would be good.

Any advice is appreciated

Exact same problem! Had it for nearly a month now. I’ve attached a relevant picture of my pingplotter report.

This contant DCing is driving me mental. Is there a way of reporting this directly to the owners of the ‘faulty hop’?

For me, the playability of this game is maybe 2/10 at the moment… login server issues, constant disconnects and I cannot even see guild chat without a five-minute delay.
What on earth is going on?! I would love to have at least an acknowledgement of the issues as would many others.

Yup! I’ve been getting this error for weeks now. I have been through Arenanet’s support channels and the conclusion was packet loss.
I’m currently in the middle of tech support with my ISP.
My pingplotter report shows ~6% packet loss from my computer to my router (wireless connection although it could be the cause) and ~92.5% from one of the Frankfurt L3 servers. I’ll continue troubleshooting my end but man… that’s a lot of packet loss that’s not my end. Just sayin’!
If it is the L3 server that is the cause, can us or Arenanet do anything at all?

Okay, bumping my old thread. I’m still having this problem! I’ve followed the instructions MasterYoda gave me and there’s 0 packet loss between me and the DNS server. I’ve attached a screenshot of the PingPlotter output.

I really need help here, that 92.59% packet loss at a server that isn’t mine or Arenanet’s is a real problem

Hi guys,

So I’ve been getting the 7:11:3:191:101 error every day for about a week. I submitted a GW2 tech support ticket, and it turns out I am suffering from packet loss.
I was asked to use Pingplotter and upon looking at the results, I am having 93% packet loss at “ae-3-80.edge6.Frankfurt1.level3.net”, IP address 4.69.154.38.

So, I’m deducing that neither I nor GW2 are responsible for my problems and instead it is this particular server the data is going through.

What do you guys think? Could anyone else with the same/similar problem who has ran Pingplotter confirm or refute what I’m saying?
